He opened his eyes and let out a deep breath.I immediately got up from his chest,"Alan?" I called out with my tear filled eyes.He looked at me.I couldn't see him in this condition.I covered my mouth with my hands."Alan."I called out again.I went closer to him and kissed his forehead.
James arrived.
"Is he up?" He said excitedly and I nodded.
"Hey,man.Get up soon.This little girl doesn't listen to me,she doesn't eat,doesn't sleep.Get up bro.Someone needs to wipe her tears." James said as he broke down into tears.Alan turned his head slowly towards me.He slowly raised his hand and touched my face.He nodded his head as a 'no' and smiled from under the oxygen mask.
I kissed his fingers and I looked behind to see James."No,I am not crying." He laughed and continued wiping his tears.I smiled and looked at him.Then,I looked at Alan who was also smiling.I kissed Alan's hands and went to James."Hey man.Don't cry.When Alan gets up he will tease you by this fact forever." He laughed and so did I.
"He's gonna be fine." I whispered and he nodded his head.
The doctor came and said,"Mr.Black,are you awake?"
"Yes,he is." I said on behalf of him.
He professionally removed the oxygen mask from Alan's face.
"Is he okay?'' I asked to the doctor.
"Good news for you Ms.Black,his oxygen is stable.He will recover very soon." He said and left.Alan laughed,I looked at him.It has been so long since I heard his voice.
"See,I told you Alan's gonna be fine.You both were worrying for no reason." I turned to James and then to Alan.
"Lady,you are the one who was worrying." James laughed as he sat beside Alan.
''I wasn't worried.I was praying." I said.
''You don't pray if you don't care." James said to me.I looked at Alan and said,"Won't you talk?''
''You guys aren't giving me any chance to talk." He said very weakly.
''Man,you are seriously losing your 6 packs."
''Really?I don't think so." I said to James as I narrowed my eyes.
"Sometimes Alan's masculine figure make me want to--"
"Okay,that's enough." I cut him off.He laughed and so did Alan.
"See,she get's jealous." James winked at Alan.
"You might wanna bring him some good food instead of talking rubbish." I said to him as I motioned my hands.
"Talking orders from the Queen.I will be back with your food." He said and left.
"You look so pale." I said to Alan.
''So do you." He said.
"I just wanted you to wake up." I said to him.
''I was gonna wake up anyways.Didn't I promise you that?" He said as he sat up.
"Don't sit up.You need rest."
"Nah,I've been resting for too long."
I sat beside him and massaged his head after forcing him to lay down.
"Why can't you just accept that you love me?" He asked with pain in his eyes.
''I don't love you.I will never love you."
"Why?"
"Because,I just don't.You can't force someone to love you."
"But I will make you love me."He said as he grabbed my wrists tightly and moved his lips closer to my neck.
"No,please.Why are you doing this to me?" I said.He came closer to my face and kissed me on the lips.
"There's no hiding." He smiled.
"You can't do this to me." I said.
"I can do anything I want with you." He whispered into my ear.
"I am a nobody.There are millions of rich and fancy women who wants you.You can have any of them you want.Why me?" I asked as I tried to free my wrists from him.
"Because I love you and I know you love me too." He said to me as he pulled me closer to his chest.
How can I love him.Sooner or later I have to betray him.I don't want to break his heart.
''Tell me you love me." He whispered to me.I do really love him but if I love him,it will cost him his life.
His chest was wet with my tears.I wish I could tell him how much I loved him.I looked at him.I know he was confused and so was I.Why was I loving him if I can't tell him that I do.If I betray him,he will kill me for sure.He was the King of New Mexico,California,Las Vegas and some others.He was so powerful.
Even if I can't tell him that I love him.I will show him that I do.I will come back to him after all these ends.I promise him that.I didn't realize for how long I was looking into his eyes.
I didn't want him to know what I was doing behind his back.I was betraying him.That's why I can never love him.
