Chapter 05 – Why am I angry?
Keelin’s POV
“Keelin, I don’t like your plan!” It was Blaze who connected me through the mind link.
“Blaze, don’t be a ridiculous wolf. We are the king among the wolves, we can’t bend and bond ourselves to a woman for our entire life!” I explained to him.
“Whatever, moon goddess doesn’t give a fated mate to a wolf without a strong reason”
“Blaze, I don’t like to waste my time for romance. If you want to claim her let me know. I will force her and give you the opportunity” I was walking to the courtroom.
“What? We don’t need to force her. I feel that she also felt something” Blaze said.
“I saw how you were purring when I was cuddling her”
After her surgery, the medical team had to observe her for another twenty-four hours. After six hours she got a severe fever and she started shaking with a heavy chill. The physician suggested that the only way to come out from the chill is by providing her the warmth of the body. I had no other option other than to do it by myself.
“Good morning Alpha!” When I was entering to the courtroom Beta Fenris and Gamma Ordan were already there.
“Good morning! Ordan, I must say it’s nice to see you!” I saw him two days after the war. I sent him to my pack house to handle the duties there and inform the pack members to get ready to shift to the castle. Druvell was the third-largest kingdom I invaded, but I must admit that it was the most beautiful one I have ever seen.
“Shouldn’t we the one who should say that, by seeing our King after….” Fenris gave a devilish smile.
“I was there because the physician asked and I can’t trust anyone” I was giving reasons.
“You can’t trust anyone or you couldn’t keep yourself away after seeing the beauty of the princess? Ordan danced his eyebrows.
“Do you two wish you two wishes to write your death wish?” I sat on the middle chair designed for the king to sit. Everything was mine. It was not hard to ask King Ruben to hand me everything if he needed to save his daughter’s life.
The courtroom was huge hanging the flags of the Druvell, but it was the perfect time to change these interiors and flags.
“Fenris, ask former King Ruben to come and meet me now. The princess is awake!” I leaned back on the chair.
“King, your mistresses were waiting at your chamber. They were involved in a few fights and bet who was going to sleep with you first once you were back in the chamber” Ordan said sitting at the left side chair next to me.
“These women are giving me a headache. Sometimes I think of slaughtering them at once. Ordan, you can take them if you need” I said.
“No way, I am looking for my mate. How can I face her if I sleep with women?” Ordan said with a guilty expression on his face.
“Learn something from your Gamma! He doesn’t have a mate yet, but still respects her!” Blaze was looking for a moment to tackle me.
I can’t blame him, he wasn’t lying.
“Your grace, former king is here!” Fenris entered the courtroom with King Ruben.
“Ah, come and sit. I hope my maids are taking care of you. If there is anything, don’t hesitate to ask me” I said.
“The only thing I want back is my peaceful kingdom,” He said in an irritating voice.
“That can’t be arranged, but your daughter is back to consciousness. You can go and see her for a few minutes” I said.
“Thank god” He prayed by looking up.
“You should thank the Alpha, your new king. He saved your daughter” Fenris’s voice was mixed with irritation.
“Because of him my daughter is in this situation, otherwise she might have married and spent a happy married life!” King Ruben gave a death glare to Fenris and rolled his eyes on me.
“You should be thanked that your daughter didn’t marry that lizard. Look how he slipped away like a coward”
“How dare you to speak about my relatives like that?” King Ruben stood up furiously with my statement.
“You should mind your tone when you speak to the king” Fenris growled softly at King Ruben.
“It’s all right Fenris. He was not used to calling someone else king” I said calmly.
“Ruben, I think you should go and see your daughter before I change my mind. She requested your presence in her chamber. Fenris, you may lead our former king to her daughter’s chamber and make sure that he leaves the chambers as soon as possible” I showed him the way out of the courtroom. I looked at the retreating back of King Ruben and stood myself to leave the room.
I walked into the chamber to find that my top two mistresses were fighting against each other. I clenched my jaw annoyingly. They were pulling each other's hair and insulting me without even looking at me.
“Behave yourself in my chamber” I raised my Alpha voice and they immediately stopped their fight. Both came towards me and bowed their heads.
“My king, we were so desperate to see you. Let us congratulate you on the win and we should celebrate this” My first mistress Beatrice said.
“I am fed up with your fights every day. You two are fighting like dogs” I barged into the room angrily and removed my shirt. I needed to have a bath and get freshened.
“Let us serve you during your bath, My lord!” Mistress Agatha said this time.
“I can do it by myself” I heard Blaze laughing inside me.
Was that a mocking smile on me? I asked myself.
“Let us help you, my king” They both hung on my shoulder and I pushed them away.
“Why are you ignoring us today?” They were surprised by my actions. I keep them as number one and two because they know my se*ual desires and they know how to please me. I am a little surprised about myself today about hating them.
“You go out of the chambers. I can please the king today!” Beatrice pushed the other one. making her fall on the floor and she started to laugh wickedly.
Her laugh and their actions made me sick and I captured from her neck and squeezed it. She was struggling to breathe and I threw her away making her fall harder on the chamber floor.
“See, the king wants me today. You should stay away Beatrice” Agatha started to curse her.
“Both of you out of my room before I kill you!” I snarled shaking the wall of the chamber and they both ran away helping each other to handle their dresses while running out of the chamber.
