In the bedroom given to her, she sat down on the bed, looking at the copy of the document she had just signed. She sighed before stretching forward to take the contract. And as she went through it, different kinds of emotions kept flowing through her.
Party B must obey and do whatever Party A says at all times without complaining or refusing.
Party B must not tell anyone about the relationship or the contract between them or talk to anyone without the permission of Party A.
Party B is not allowed to leave the house without permission from Party A.
Party B is only allowed to perform the activities of a personal maid for party A, including cooking and doing everything party A wants, except cleaning or going near party A's studies. There were a lot of conditions under which she couldn't even continue reading.
"This is more like slavery. He threatened me to sign this useless contract." She cried, trying to tear it off, but stopped when she remembered it was of no use.
Suddenly, a knock came from her door. Thinking it was the housekeeper, she cleaned her face with her palms and walked towards the door, but was surprised when she saw one of the maids in front of her door. "Take this. The car will be waiting for you by seven in the evening." The maid said, pointing a maid's clothes hanging on a hanger to her.
"Where am I going?" She asked, but the maid just looked at her and scoffed. "Are you asking me that? Go ask the Alpha yourself." The maid said this before leaving her presence.
She looked at the maid until she left. She sighed before going back to sit on the bed. She was surprised and, at the same time, confused to hear that she was going somewhere in the evening. "Where could he tell the driver to take me? What exactly could he be planning now?" She asked herself but couldn't get any answers.
She sat in the room for some time until she felt hungry, but she couldn't go downstairs to make herself food because she knew the other maids would still be there. But when she couldn't take it any longer, she went to the kitchen.
After making some food for herself, she went back to the room and didn't go back downstairs for hours until it was almost seven. She kept roaming around the room. She didn't even know where he had asked her to go with the driver.
She knew she didn't have a choice. Without wasting any more time, she left the room, dressed in the same maid's clothes. She walked out of the house to go meet the driver, who was also waiting for her.
She tried asking the driver where they were going but didn't get any answers because the alpha had ordered him not to say a word. "I wonder what he's up to now." She said to herself as the car moved out of the compound.
The car drove for almost an hour until it stopped in front of a gate that looked old. She was already dozing after some minutes of leaving the house, but when she noticed the car had stopped and saw the gate, she knew where she had been taken.
The Court of the Shadowmoon Pack. The place where the pack's meeting is being held and where the alpha lives, except for Alpha Aiden, making him the first. She had only been to the house once with her father during the time of the blood moon, and that was a long time. As omegas, they weren't really recognized in the pack, and attending meetings was not for them.
The gate opened after the guards at the entrance confirmed something she could explain as an invitation in a book. But why? Why would he invite her to the pack's house?
The car entered the compound, only for her to be greeted with a majestic mansion, much bigger than Aiden's house, but still, she wasn't in a position to compare. Even though the lights weren't bright enough to give a clearer view of the house, some parts were a bit dark, giving it a dark feeling, but still, it looked beautiful.
She got out of the car and walked slowly towards the brick stairs. Different kinds of people also got out of their respective cars, dressed in different kinds of beautiful gowns and suits, and she could feel their gazes at her. Probably because of the car she had just gotten out of, but she just ignored them and walked towards the door.

The room was filled with different kinds of noise, with different people engaging in one form of sound, whether talking, laughing, whispering, or even gossiping.
Around the small table stood two women and a man, exchanging conversation while still sipping their drinks. "He's not coming this year?" One of the women spoke before the other one also replied. "What do you expect?" They both laughed until the man named Samuel, who happened to be one of the gammas in the pack, also said.
"Why organize a party for someone when the person won't be present all the time? Do they think the remaining members of the pack don't have anything to do? He was just as worse as this before his mate left him." Samuel said, to which the other two women also nodded. "You're so right. I had to leave an important job just for this." He couldn't finish his words when he heard a familiar voice say, "You do know it's not by force to attend, right?"
They all looked in the direction where the voice came from, and seeing the person, they could only freeze in shock. "Beta... I..." Samuel stammered, short of words, while the other two could only bow their heads.
"It's not like we beg anyone to attend the party, do we? If you have anything important to do, it's fine to do it without bothering about some boring party, right?" Liam said, looking at the man and the woman. "In fact, you can all leave now to do your important stuff."
"Who is leaving?" A voice came from behind. Samuel and the women were already embarrassed by the way the beta was talking to them. They could not even find a word to say, but looking back to see Veronica, the triplets' mother, and Luna in front of them, they knew they were done for. "Is someone leaving, Liam?"
Liam also turned to her with a smile before facing the other three. "It seems like Samuel here has more important things to do than being at this party. Am I right?"
That's not how... Before he could complete his words, he heard. "It's not a surprise you also gossip with people, but at least don't act like we force you to be here." Veronica said with a smile before sighing. "Yes. The alpha is not here, even though this event is for him, but...
Before the woman could finish her words, the door of the hall opened wide with a loud voice. "The Alpha is here." They all looked towards the entrance to see the man, who walked in with an aura that felt so fearful and intimidating.
