A contract

1060 Words
The next morning, All night, she couldn't sleep. She couldn't believe she would be locked up in that small room again, but still, she didn't care. She kept telling herself she wouldn't be weak to give in to his demands, even if he were to kill her. Her face looked strong and determined, with no emotions in it. Not too long, she heard a sound from the door, which made her know that someone was trying to unlock it. The door was pushed open, and two men entered and dragged her with them. She knelt on the cold floor of the living room, facing the empty couch, but she was not alone. Two men stood on different sides of the room, but not too far away from her. She kept looking at the couch, and as soon as she huffed a sigh, she heard a sound coming from the stairs. Without having to look at who it was, she already knew it was him. He walked majestically into the room, sat elegantly on the couch she was facing, and looked at the girl, who was also staring at him directly, like she didn't fear him, but he knew better, especially with the loud heartbeat he was hearing. Hearing him walk from the stairs to where she was, she had been so scared, but she couldn't give in to fear, even though she was already failing miserably. She knew she had to be confident and speak up to him no matter what he did to her, and seeing him dressed in a suit for work wouldn't stop her. "Give her the papers." She heard him say, still looking at her. As soon as he said it, one of the men walked up to where she was and dropped a document in front of her. She looked down at the document before looking up at him, only to find him looking at her with his back resting on the couch and one of his legs crossed on the other. She took that as a sign to open the document and check what was in it, but she was left mouth opened. Suddenly, she dropped the paper on the floor and looked at him. "I can't sign this. A contract? I don't care what you do to me. Kill me instead, but I will never sign this." She screamed, but she only heard the man scoff. He was furious. Hearing his wolf keep calling her mate and seeing her even anger him, not to mention her screaming at him, "I would be so happy to kill you with my hands, but that would be good for you." He said to her before looking at the men behind her. She saw him make a sign to the men, and she thought they were going to drag her back to the small room. "Just kill me! I refuse to be locked up." She screamed, trying to move towards him and pull him to anger him more, but stopped suddenly when a laptop was brought in front of her. Immediately, her whole body relaxed. "Da... Dad." She called out slowly, looking at the screen. The video played, and she saw three people sitting on the couch in the room she recognized as her house. Her Dad. Valerie, her sister, and Sofia, her stepmom. And they all looked like they were scared. Suddenly, a sound came from the background. "Amelia. Is that you?" Her dad asked, but she couldn't answer before he talked again. "Do what the Alpha wants, Amelia. Anything he wants. Just do it." "But dad." She said with tears in her eyes but couldn't continue when her dad raised his voice. "I told you to do what he wants. Would you be happy if he killed your sister? Are you that shameless?" The man screamed through the video, but Amelia just kept crying until the laptop suddenly went black. "No. Dad..." She screamed, touching the screen, but nothing came up. She looked at the man again before taking the paper. Without bothering to check anything, she flipped to where she would sign and quickly wrote her signature in the right places. "See. I've signed it. Please let go of my family." She begged with tears in her eyes, but the guy just stood up and straightened his suit. "A copy of the contract will be sent to you. At least you should know what you've gotten yourself into." He was about to walk away when he heard. "Why?" "Why are you doing this? It's not my fault I'm fated to you." She said slowly, but instead of answering her questions, he asked. "You don't know why?" He scoffed before saying. "Then should I accept you as my mate because it's not your fault? Don't be so full of yourself. People like you disgust me." He said to her before walking out of the room, leaving her on the floor crying. *** In the big office. He sat down, going through some files. He would have done that a while ago, but because he was trying to intimidate a weak omega into signing a contract, he was late to the office. He couldn't believe he would go to such lengths just to make her life difficult, and thinking about it just kept annoying him. Not too long, the door opened, and his assistant walked in to read his schedule, and after reading it to him, he reminded him about the pack's party, which would be held in the night. "Sir, the pack's party is tonight." He looked up at him and replied with no emotion. "And have you ever seen me attend any?" "No, sir." The assistant replied before bowing his head and turning around to leave. He was about to get to the door when he suddenly heard, "Wait. Get the driver to get the omega to the pack's house when it's time." Aiden said, to which he also nodded. "Yes, sir." After his assistant left, he rested his back on his chair and kept looking at the papers with a smirk that almost looked invisible. He had never planned to attend any pack parties, but for the first time in a while, he wanted to attend, and that was because of something he had up his sleeves. "Why?" He scoffed, remembering her words.
