As the adage says, beautiful things come to those who wait... patiently. LDR was not my cup of tea, but I used to cope with the situation. The only quality time we have was during phone conversations and weekly video calls. It wasn't enough yet I already adjusted to it. I'm on my second semester in my fourth year and happily engaged with Dashiel. The time he talked to my parents and formally proposed was nerve-wracking. Mixed emotions were running in me that time but then dad calmly accepted it. Both sides agreed that we can pursue our wedding once I finished college.
