“@Randomthoughts: "Dear Math, please grow up and solve your own problems, I'm tired of solving them for you."    >>>>>>>  Ruby`s POV After a while of just flying, the wind hitting my face and staring down in wonder. The ground view scenery changed from reddish ground to a snowy ice filled environment. “We are now in my home territory, the Elven Kingdom,” I heard Elf Prince Daki`th say, as he saw my curiosity filled look at everything. It looked like a magical ice land. It also gave me nostalgia reminding me of home, the cold countries I had visited. We had a good landing upon reaching the ground and got off safely. The Elf Prince then made a strange sound with his mouth, speaking some other new kind of dialect. As if the Griffin had understood, it did a small bow towards him then started beating its wings as if about to go off somewhere. "Elf Prince Dak`ith where is he off to," I could not help but ask as I noticed the large bird flying away after being dismissed. "Its a she, and she is off to find the tree which has her nest," he replied making me think of the moving trees again. “You know, you don’t have to call me by my title, Dakith is fine too. And what do I call you, I apologize for my bad manners, forgetting to ask your name.” He added stopping in his steps to turn and look at me. “You can call me Ruby,” I replied not bothering to include my Vampire Princess title. I was in a new world and now a nobody. “Ruby, such a unique beautiful name,” He replied while flashing me a charming smile which had me almost blushing. “We are almost there, but are you not cold?” He asked while leading the way, as we walked on the icy ground. Now staring with concern at my lack of clothing. The short mini clubbing red dress I was still wearing and my bare feet. “Not really, but a nice change of clothes would be nice,” I replied also wanting some comfy shoes. I was still a cold-blooded Vampire so the cold did not bother me much. Dakith replied that he would get me some once we arrived. “We are here,” he finally said after another long walk and I looked up in awe at this beautiful Ice city. Everything from the walls to whatever was inside seemed to all be built with ice. “Your highness,” The two Elf guards who stood by the crystal gates all said with a bow to Dakith.  They were dressed in White Armor with golden designs and had the same elf-ish features, long white hair, pale skin and pointy ears. As for me they just gave me curious filled expressions hidden by blank looks. Dak`ith responded to their greeting, then we entered after they opened the big gate for us. “Impressive is it?” The Elf prince asked noticing the awed expression on my face. “How did you build all this,” I asked indeed looking impressed. Crystal ice blue walls which did not melt. Then was the unique structure of each of the buildings. “Just as Dragons are masters of fire, we Elves can control ice.” Dakith replied then turned to greet the other elves whom we were passing by.  He seemed to be loved by all his people. Sending them all greeting smiles back and being surrounded by elf kids who all ran to hug him. I liked that it showed the kind of good person he was. As for me the city elves were mostly just giving me curiosity filled looks. Maybe because of my strange features which stood out. And none made a move to interact with me. I also even noticed the hate-filled looks too. “Some seem to hate me,” I managed to whisper to Dakith. How could they hate me when we had never met before. “Just like when I first saw you, they all think you are a Dragon shifter. You look like them in their other second form. And right now, we are at war with the Dragon Kingdom.” He replied now with a glim look on his face. “And I`m guessing it was the Dragons who started it, considering my already awful first encounter with one.” I replied recalling the way that evil Red Dragon had tried to kill me and had me falling down the edge of a cliff! “The one you met is Dragon Prince Kai. He is actually the tamer one compared to his brother who is worse, The menacing Dragon King.” Dak`ith replied looking as if he was recalling a past horrible encounter. If this Dragon King was as worse as the nice charming Elf Prince was saying. Then I hoped to not ever meet him or any evil Dragons ever! “But right now don’t be scared. My people will not attack you because they trust me as their Prince. They know that I would never bring in a visitor to our home who means harm.” He added to calm me as he saw how close I was now walking. Even clutching his hand as the crowd of Elves grew more and more. This was as we neared the main palace where we were headed to.  Upon entering into the beautiful Palace made of ice, I noticed that it was highly guarded. Having elf guards on each and every corner. As we walked through the icy passageway, I could hear this beautiful calm, and elegant voice echoing as we got closer and closer. “Commander how many causalities and deaths do we have this time. I want to hear the full report of the battle,” the voice asked with a commanding tone. “I am afraid my Queen that the number of fatalities on our side is just too high. We were winning but lost the battle as soon as the Dragon King appeared and joined too. Our Allies the shifters and the fairies also suffered a huge blow.” I heard a male voice reply, “And on their side?” The Elf Queen whom I was now guessing to be Prince Dak`ith`s mother inquired, “They only lost a few Dragons but their allies the dim-witted Trolls who are siding with them, lost more as our Shifters decimated them from the ground.” The Elf commander replied, making me think of Tor. No, wonder that troll had been wearing clothes for war. “Thank you for the report Commander, I will discuss with the Elf council on what our next strategy will be and will summon you.” After being told that, the Elf commander quickly bowed and left. Both me and Dakith we paused after entering. This was as we looked to see a vulnerable moment that we had intruded on by mistake. One we were not supposed to see. It was the Elf Queen in tears, teardrops falling down her beautiful angelic face. A worried look quickly appeared on the Elf Prince`s face as he stared at his distressed mother. He knew her tears were all because of hearing about the deaths of their people in this unending war. "If only I had known that Devil King would make a rare appearance in that battle, I would have sent double the army or called it off and had them all retreat. I cannot make that same mistake again," she whispered with so much pain and regret in her voice.   But finally, she noticed us as we awkwardly stood there. She instantly pulled herself together with an embarrassed smile, wiping off the tears from her face and pulling herself together. Once done she was now sitting there elegantly on her ice crystal throne with the straight posture of a confident ruler. “My beloved Son, done with patrolling already?” She first asked the Elf Prince with a motherly soft look on her face. Different from the serious and perfectly composed look she had been giving to the Elf commander. And the vulnerable one we had just noticed. “Yes, I am. I did spot Prince Kai almost nearing our territory to spy but he turned around and left.” Dak`ith first replied, “And where did you find the exquisite creature standing right next to you.” The Elf Queen stated now looking at me with great curiosity. She also did a quick glance to our hands which were still clasped together, This quickly made me let go of Dakith`s hand as I realized, I had still been holding it. “Despite those red eyes which would make you mistake her for a Dragoness, I sense no Dragon within her. But something unique which I have not seen in years.” She continued, looking to be deeply observing me. “Her name is Ruby and I found her today. She is an earthling mother!” as Dakith replied, the same excited expression on his face quickly transferred to his mother`s face too.  The now excited Elf queen quickly stood up from her throne and rushed to where I stood in her flowing light blue, queenly gown. “The last time I saw an earthling was a thousand years ago!” She exclaimed now circling around me with great interest, whereas I felt like squirming at all the attention. “Ooh, this one is different. Not a Human earthling, similar but another kind of earthling, I can sense powers within her. “She continued while looking as if she was doing something and reading me or even my mind! As her eyes were glowing a little. I tried reading her mind too but just like her son`s they all had their minds completely blocked. “Tell me what are they, your powers,” She eagerly asked while turning me around with her hands holding both my shoulders. Also looking as if the curiosity was killing her.  “You are right, I am not human. But I am what they call on earth, a Vampire. I have super speed and can go invisible.” I replied excluding to mention mind reading as it was not working here. “Exceptional! You would make the perfect spy.” She exclaimed out loud now with a look in her eyes as if she was already plotting something. “I actually came here because your son said you could help me go back home,” I quickly said so that she could know what I was truly here for. I was not here for some quest or missions. “It was a fairy that brought you here through magical filled water, was it not?” She first asked now with a poker and composed face. “Yes, you are right.” I replied in delight for she seemed to know more about this. But I had no idea if Emma followed or decided to stay there on earth. “Therefore, to go back to earth you need the magical well. And there is only one person who can find it and knows how it works too.” She clarified, “Who is it,” I asked. Now thinking of how I had foolishly let that magical well disappear before I could do anything. I should have jumped in. “My dear friend and Ally called Eve, the Light Fairy Queen is the one who knows all about it.” The Elf Queen replied, “Please take me to her, I want to go home,” I quickly said with a relieved voice. “I am afraid that right now only I know of her location and no one else. She is busy in isolation doing fairy grieving rituals for some of her people who have died in this war.” The Elf Queen responded, “And I will only take you to Eve and have her sent you home, only after you have done something for me,” she finished. “Mom, why must she-“the Elf Prince tried to interject and scold his mother for trying to blackmail me, but I cut him off “Anything, what do you want me to do,” I replied. I wanted to go home and would do whatever it took to do so. “I need you to be my spy and infiltrate the Dragon Kingdom for me,” She replied while giving me a satisfied smirk,
