Chapter 4
Autumn progressed and the Pride Riders got out to experience as much of it as possible, if not in their full group then in small clusters of members who lived near each other. Jae and Declan lived close enough to Amir, Ken, Kayla, Noelle, and Hayden that the seven of them tried to get out every weekend. Declan only made it to two weekends, and that was fine by Amir. He now fully accepted that he was going to try to listen to that stupid horoscope and see what he could learn from Jae. Unfortunately, not everything Amir observed was positive.
Amir had friended Jae on f*******:, to keep an eye on him as much as anything else, and among the typical adorable couple’s selfies and viral photos were inspirational posts about people overcoming hardships. Jae shared at least two stories
