When Remi ran from Cullen’s office, I was prepared to get Remington on the phone and make a plan for going to Serenity Moon. Cullen halted, and we both felt overwhelming fear burst through the bond. There was no hesitation; we moved in unison to run after her.
“You are a f*****g i***t,” I linked my brother. I could smell Remi strongest from her office, and when we looked in her doorway, she was bent over the trashcan, vomiting.
“How exactly is this my fault?” he contended.
We both moved to her side, kneeling behind her. I pulled her hair away from her face, and Cullen placed his hand on her back. “She is reacting to you being ready to rip Zeus’s throat out!” He went a little overboard in his sadistic joy at the possibility of putting Zeus down.
