REMI I didn’t want the twins worrying over me too much. I knew they would drop literally everything to be by my side, but I also knew there wasn’t much they could do. Having to watch me be uncomfortable or feel crummy would drive them crazy, so it was better if they focused on work. Once Cullen believed I was asleep, he left the bedroom, but he and Calder returned shortly after. Calder sat next to me on the bed, and Cullen must have sat at the desk.
