I’d always imagined her as a celestial being. One born of light, not as she is before me. She looks more human that one would know.  I wonder for a moment if she’s ever on earth, if she ever moves through that realm as a common woman rather than a goddess and that’s why she represents herself to me in this way.  I find that I can’t look away.  There’s a white, milky light all around her form, tracing her skin and gleaming outward in a halo that surrounds her. Rays there twinkle, bending only when they’re reunited a great distance away from her. It seems unnatural but her power over the moon hadn’t been trivial.  I want to speak but decide against it, lowering my head then falling to my knees all at once. It’s ungraceful but I had to have disrespected her by staring at her angelic beaut
