{Dayton}
I was sitting in the middle of the commons area talking to Jacobi one of the guys I spar with on the field when my phone went off. I looked to see who was texting me and saw it was my sister. I opened the text and she asked if I was busy. I texted her back and told her I was able to talk and asked what was up. She told me she wanted to know if I would be able to come to green moon and sit down and talk with her. I said I would be able to come today if she needed me to. She told me she just needed to talk to me about something but wanted to do it in person and I said I will be there in about 2 hours. When I left the commons area I called my mom and told her I was going to visit Aspen and I was taking her car. She told me that was fine and said to be careful. I left as soon as I hung up with my mom.
When I got to green moon, I didn't even have to give my name. I was let in and told to go ahead and head to the packhouse. I went through the gate and headed up to see my sister. When I got to the packhouse Aspen was standing outside waiting on me. I asked how she knew I was here and she said the gate guard Zeke mind-linked her. When we walked into the packhouse I asked what was going on that she needed to see me in person and she laughed and said it wasn't anything bad. I said ok well what couldn't you ask me on the phone? She told me to shut up and keep walking. I followed her up to their suite and when I walked in the door I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at the person on the couch. Aspen said, "Dayton, this is Wisteria. Wisteria, this is Dayton." I nervously said hi and so did she. I asked Aspen why Wisteria was here if she needed to talk to me and I was expecting her to say, she was watching the pups but what came out of my sister's mouth was not that. She said, "well Wisteria came to me and asked if I could call you and have you come talk to her." I looked at my sister with a confused expression and she laughed. I said I'm not sure what's going on here. Wisteria stood up and I had a feeling she was wanting to talk to me about staring at her. What she said caught me off guard. Wisteria said, "Hello Dayton. I wanted to talk to you about something that has been going on with me." I stared at her with my brow raised and she said, "I know this may be confusing for you but I needed to meet with you so you would understand why I was staring at you at Aspen and Hardin's wedding." I said you were staring at me? She blushed and said, "I was and I apologize for that." I said don't be embarrassed Wisteria. it's ok. You have nothing to apologize for. She said, "I do. Staring is polite. It was rude of me. That is why I asked Aspen to call you. I figured you and I could possibly take a walk and talk?" My heart started racing and I said yeah I would love to take a walk with you. Aspen stood in the kitchen laughing at me and I shot her a glare. She said, "what? I think it's funny that you are all flustered right now." I said I'll tell mom on you when I get home and she laughed even harder and said, "I am an adult I am not scared of you telling on me brat." I extended my hand for Wisteria to take and glared at Aspen as we walked out of her suite.
When we got outside the packhouse I asked Wisteria which way she wanted to go. She led me towards the back of the packhouse and I became nervous all of a sudden. I don't get nervous when it comes to chicks. Why is she different? We kept walking until we came to a clearing in a field and she sat down on the ground. She patted the ground next to her and I sat down. I said I am a little confused as to what is going on. I mean I know you said you wanted to apologize for staring but honestly I didn't even see you staring at me. If anything I should apologize to you because I was staring at you. She turned to look at me and said, "why were you staring at me?" I nervously rubbed the back of my neck and said you caught my attention and I find you very attractive. She giggled and said, "my reason for staring is the same." I said you find me attractive? She nodded and I smiled at her. This was not what was in my dreame but I will take it. We sat there for a while stealing glances at one another and smiling. I finally spoke up and said would you like to go out with me sometime? She smiled at me and said, "I would love to Dayton." I asked her if I needed to go and ask Mrs. Tifton or Mr. Tifton and she said it would probably be a good idea to ask if I could take her out. We got up and headed to their house. When Mrs. Tifton saw me she asked if everything was ok and I said yes ma'am. I am here to ask you or Mr. Tifton if I could possibly take Wisteria out for dinner tomorrow. Mrs. Tiftom smiled at me and said that was fine with her and that she would let Mr. Tifton know. I told her thank you and I turned to Wisteria and said I will be back to pick you up around 6 if that is ok with you? She smiled at me and said that was fine.
When I left the Tifton's I went back up to see my sister. Aspen asked how things went and I said you set me up. She laughed and said, That's what big sisters are good at." I said so not funny sis. She asked how our walk went and I said it went fine. I found out that she likes me and I admitted to her I liked her as well. I will be back tomorrow to pick her up at 6 to go out on a date. Aspen stopped laughing and said, "You are taking her out?" I nodded and asked if there was a problem with that and she said, "No. there isn't a problem with it. It's just a little weird hearing you say date. I mean with what you have done in the past, dating wasn't one of them." I said I know but with her, it's not like that. I don't feel the need to get her in bed right off the bat. I feel like she deserves to be taken out and me get to know her. Aspen came up to me and hugged me. She said, "I am proud of the young man you are turning into little brother." I smiled at my sister and said thank you. She told me she would call mom for me and let her know I was heading back and I said that was fine. When I headed down the stairs I bumped into Hardin who was on his way up. He asked if everything was ok and I said yeah Aspen called and asked me to come visit. He said, "sorry I didn't get a chance to hang out Dayton." I said it's ok I'll be back tomorrow for my date. He raised his brow and said, "Date?" I said yeah I am taking Wisteria out on a date. He said, "ok well I guess I will see you tomorrow then. Oh and Dayton." I said yes Hardin? He said, "Hurt my little sister and you know I know where you sleep. See you tomorrow." and he walked off. I texted Aspen and said [*** my brother-in-law now wants to kill me. ***] she texted back [*** he won't kill you. Just treat her with respect, please. ***] I put my phone up and headed home.
