It's not fair that everyone I know and grew up with is happy. They are either finding their mates or have a mate and are having pups while I am mateless and having to sleep around just to get some s*xual satisfaction. I know I probably screwed things up for myself when I tripped Ember down the stairs but I saw the twin she is with first. I knew Ember was fine because she got up right after she landed. I was just so mad because I met him before her and it's not fair that she gets him when I saw him first. Since we were pups Ember has always gotten the things I wanted. Why should she get Alexander too? I'm pretty sure she didn't see who it was who actually tripped her so maybe just maybe I still have a chance to get Alexander. I've been laying low at a friends a few towns over from Green Moon just until I knew all the talk died down. It's been long enough and I am ready to go try and take what I wanted. I am thankful Daph. showed me how to go after what I wanted and not give up on it. Even though she got caught and lost her life, I won't let the same thing happen to me. No one was paying attention when Ember tumbled down the stairs so no one saw me. No one can prove I did anything. Daph should have covered her tracks better. Ugh, I miss my best friend so much and I still want to avenge her death and get my hands on that b*tch of a Luna Green Moon has but I know if I was to even attempt going after her, I would end up right next to Daphanie. I decided to wait until dark to head home. I didn't want to be questioned about where I've been by anyone and I figured I would just go straight home and take the pathway from the woods behind my house. I knew of an old access road that no one ever went down that I could park my car and then go back and get later. At 5:00 p.m. I said bye to my friend and headed out.

When I turned off the access road I got out and locked my car and headed toward my house through the woods. When I got to the backside of my house, I made sure no one saw me coming out of the woods and I went inisde. I turned my lamp on and went to take a shower. When I got out, I got dressed and was getting ready to fix myself a snack before bed when my door was kicked open and 3 guards came into my livingroom and blocked me in my kitchen. I asked Zeke who was one of the guards what in the hell they were doing kicking my door in and barging into my house. He didn't respond. I looked at Nikkoli and asked him what was going on. He didn't respond either. The 3 of them just stood there staring at me. I tried to walk out of my kitchen but I was stopped. A minute later I saw Alpha Hardin, Beta Jakob, Gamma Thomas and That b*tch Luna walk up my walk way. I froze for a moment but relaxed so I didn't look guilty of anything. When the Alpha walked in I asked what was the meaning of all of this?

"Myah Lake, You are hereby being arrested for assaulting a fellow pack member who did nothing to provoke the assault." The Alpha said.

"Alpha Hardin, I do not know what you are talking about. I haven't been here in almost a month. I just got home after staying with a friend a few towns away who was sick an hour and a half ago." I said as I tried not to freak out.

"Zeke, Nikkoli, and Oakley, Take Myah to the cells until I can get the statements I need." the Alpha said and the guards nodded.

"Alpha Hardin, What about the murder charge?" I heard the Gamma ask.

"It will be added once I get the statements I need. No one and I mean no one tells Alexander we have her. Do I make myself clear?" Alpha Hardin said and everyone nodded.

"Murder? I didn't murder anyone. What in the hell is going on?" I yelled as I was being taken from my house in chains.

After I was thrown into a nasty cell and a chain was put on my ankles that was chained to the wall, I sat down on the cot and started to freak out. I didn't murder Ember. I saw her get up and walk off. She was fine. There had to be a mistake. There had to of been a murder while I was gone and they think I did it. I pulled my kness up to my chest and sat there until someone came in to give me some water. I told the guard Oakley I believe is his name to call the Alpha down, that I needed to talk to him because there had been a mistake. He rolled his eyes.

"Alpha Hardin will be down when he decides to come down. I will not disturb the Alpha and Luna this late at night, Ms. Lake." he said.

He closed my cell door back and walked out of the cell room. I sat back down and thought to myself. There is no way I am going down for murder. They will see I am innocent and they will set me free and had better kiss as much ass as possible for falsey accusing me of murder. I laid back on the uncomfortable cot and tried to go to sleep. I couldn't get comfortable. I sat up and leaned back against the wall and closed my eyes. Everything will be sorted out in the morning I said to myself as I dozed off.
