Well school was out for the summer and my birthday was today, i knew i will soon hear my wolf, i wonder what he will say first, i hope its nothing stupid, but of course since he is here i will find a mate, i'm nervous because i am to young to have a mate, and i want to wait until i get older to do all of that, i'm only seventeen, that's when we start to hear our wolves, when we turn eighteen that's when we shift, so matter of fact i will not find my mate until i turn eighteen, so i'm okay with that, geesh i thought my teenage years were down the drain, i have at least one more year, so i'm good with that, im happy with it, I was driving home from school when i finally heard my wolves voice

“Hello Jesse i am your wolf and my name is Tarek, nice car by the way do not wreck i wish not to die, first off you won't find your mate until next year, that's when we will shift, second you will need to start training hard so you can be ready for it, if you want to save yourself for your mate, then go for it, but if you try with other girls, i swear by the moon goddess i will make you a limp d**k, i will not let you get hard trust me,”

i felt him go in the back of my mind to sulk, geesh i have never in my life had someone tell me what i can and can not do, yeah my parents they are just trying to protect me, but damn i'm still a kid, let me have my fun, i will be just fine. when i finally got home i parked my car and went into the house, my mom was in the kitchen preparing tonight's dinner, i grabbed an apple out of the bowl, kissed my moms cheek,

“happy birthday honey, im making your favourite tonight, Lasagna with mushrooms and cream cheese on top, have you heard your wolf yet?”

‘Thanks mom, yes i heard him alright, his name is Tarek, and he's a big jerk, he tried to tell me i couldn't do anything with another females i had to wait for my mate, but mom you and dad knew about the human i dated last year we mated, we had loads of fun, then she broke up with me because she said she was moving, so we broke up, then i dated around nothing serious,”

“Well honey, your wolf knows alot of things about mates, your human girlfriend was just that, someone to play around with until you find her, if you want to date fine, but you must tell them that its not serious, if they think it is, they will get hurt when you break up with them for your mate honey, i've seen it a million times, just be careful because you might hurt the wrong one and they might want to take revenge so be careful,” i thought about what my mom said, and i knew she was right, i needed to be more careful,

“Okay mom, i will be much more careful, are you and dad going to the mating ball thingy a bunch of us are going we want to see what happens when others find their mates, plus there will be music and food, so we can dance and have fun,”

“you bet your ass we are going, that way you wont be fooling around with the wrong female,” i jumped a mile high when i heard my dads voice, my mom hurried to speak for me,

“fine but if he pissed the girls father off then he will have to choose her as his mate, and reject his true mate, unless she rejects him first,”

“Dad, i understand, i'm going to be careful, we are just going to have fun and watch others find their mates” my dad nodded, and slapped me on my back,

‘Happy Birthday son, im just giving you a hard time, what are you doing tonight,”

“Nothing just staying home eating dinner with yall and go to sleep, i want to get a early start so i can start training tomorrow for my shift next year”

“Have you heard your wolf yet?”

“Yeah, his name is Tarek, and he's an ass hole.” My dad started laughing as he took a beer out of the ice box,. he opened it up and took a couple of swallows,

“yeah i remember when i first heard my wolf Derek, he was a real jackass, it took us a few years to get settled into each other, we ended up being the best of friends,”

‘I just hope that happens with us”

“Honey go rest up, dinner will done in a few hours okay, i'll call you down when it's done,”

‘Alright mom, im heading to my room, i'll probably just take a nap, love yall,”

my mom watched me walk up the stairs to my room, she waited until she heard my door shut before she spoke to my dad,

‘So did you get it?”

“yeah he's going to like this watch, did you link all the kids to come at six because when he wakes up he's going to be hungry.”

“Yeah i did, the cake is hidden and the gifts are to, i bet he thinks he's not getting anything,” they both chuckled,. they both forgotten i gotten my wolf, and i could hear everything what they were saying, but i'm not going to ruin their surprise for me, i will act surprise when i go back downstairs after my nap, im really tired right now.
