Chapter 49

{Adam pov}

I had been waiting for Callie to get home it took all i got not to head to the mall to make sure she was ok, i kept pacing back and forth in my office, i should had made one of the guards head there to keep an eye on her, four hours later i heard her car in the driveway my heart can calm down now, i waited until she was inside and almost to her room, i took the steps three at a time to reach her before she shut her bedroom door, i saw that one of her packages was about to hit the ground so i hurried inside and cought it i placed it on the bed,

‘I should have had one of the guards with you to watch over you. I was worried sick about you.” i saw her smile as she placed the rest of the boxes on the bed, she turn looking at me,

“Yes i should had brought a guard or a warrior with me, i felt like i was being watched all through the mall trip, it didn't stop me from shopping, Jamie said she would be here with her pack, I found a dress for the ball as well, and i also bought you something,” She handed me a box, i opened it and pulled out a black button up shirt, she knew i only wore black to parties it was a very nice shirt,

“Thank you for the shirt, i will make sure i wear it to the ball, maybe we can go together”

“I will think about it, but if you excuse me, i want to put this stuff up so the dress won't wrinkle,” i nodded and kissed her forehead,

‘Alright, i have plans for us when your done come to the office i have something for you”

I walked to head to my office, i knew i had more paperwork to do and and a few more phone calls, then i will be done for the night, i had plans for Callie, i had fixed her favourite, lobster tail, crab legs and shrimp with oysters, all her favourites, she deserved this putting up with my ego and smart ass attitude, I hurried to do what i had to do then, i went into the kitchen to finish up, I went into our private dining area, just for her and I that way we can just be with each other and talk some more, i was so busy getting everything set for the table, i didn't even hear the link she was sending me until i caught the last words, “Adam where are you damn it” i chuckled through the mind link, told her were i was, took her ten minutes to get to where i was at, when she got there, she saw the table set with all her favourite seafood, she looked at me then at the table again,

“Alright Adam, if your buttering me up for something your doing a good job,”

“Na i just thought we could eat and try and talk again that's all, I saw the look on her face in her eye roll, then she did what i thought she might do, i knew her all to well

“You screw up and use your ego, you can forget about talking, lets just sit down and eat, i'm starving,”

[Nikki pov}

it was a two weeks before this stupid mating ball thing, and i wanted to make sure everything was set to go, i was in the house with the cage, the cot was inside the cage with a blanket that is the only thing she will have to cover herself up, besides her clothes she is wearing, i wasn’t going to not let her wear clothes i even put a pair of sweatpants and a sweat shirt so she could change, i had everything in order for this to begin, when he came i will stab the neddle into his neck it will take two minutes for it to take effect, he will think his own daughter betrayed him and he would try to get into the cage to destroy her, once that happnes Callie will see what he had done and leave to never come back, then i will then come and comfort him telling him it wasn't his fault he had to do what he had to do to survive, he will get over it after a few weeks and have me as his luna once again, i will just have to keep putting this stuff into his drink, i have enough for a few years until my friend makes more for a few more years, i know i am poisoning him, but the time he dies, i will have his pack and everything else, so i really do not care, i was ready for this, i have been planing this for years, now i'm putting it to plan and doing it, i was excited and couldn't wait to get this done, i just had to wait until the night of the mating ball, i had changed my hair colour to black from Red, i will have green contacts in my eyes so my eyes will not be brown, they wont even know who i am, and if they ask, i will say my name is Brie, I am here to find my mate, they will then let me inside and i will start my plan, i know this sounds to easy, but i know it’s going to be hard to do, i will dye my hair one more time to keep it black, i was so ready to do this, maybe i will fail. maybe i will do all of this and i will get what i want, i just needed to wait for the night of the mating ball, i have my dress, shoes and everything that i need, i can’t wait i am excited,
