OCEAN POV

The whole place went silent when Luciano made that big announcement.

I honestly didn't want him to tell everyone about me just yet because I am not sure if I am going to accept him or not.

“Alpha you are joking right because there is no way that this rogue who is coming from nowhere can just be our luna. I mean, just take a good look at her. There is nothing special about her.” someone said, breaking the silence.

Then everyone began to talk again. The noise continued once again.

I could see that no one wanted me here. They were all looking down on me. They are judging me. They hate me. It is so obvious.

“Can you all shut up right now. What the hell is wrong with you all? I am so not happy with all of you. You are all being disrespectful, not just before my mate, but also me, your alpha.” Nolan said angrily.

“We apologise for our rude behaviour, but please, alpha, we really can't accept her as our luna. We have our rights also.” someone said.

“So you are trying to tell me to reject the woman the moon goddess gave to me? Is that it? Because of your damn right. Huh?” Nolan asked them, looking mad.

“Alpha we are doing this just for you. It is so unfair that the moon goddess gave you a mate who was rejected by her own mate because clearly we know she has had a mate before, that's why she has those children.” a pack member.

Now they are beginning to get to me really bad.

They don't know anything about me, yet they speak like they do.

“I don't care if she is rejected. I don't care if she has children from another man. It is non one of my business. I love and accept her as my mate, and if you aren't comfortable with it, you can leave.” Nolan said, making me look at him.

This man is something else. I just can't figure him out. He has shown me care and affection since I got here.

He doesn't care what his people think about me. He keeps defending me. At least he isn't like someone who rejected me just like that.

Zuri whimper when I thought about our ex mate.

“I still refuse to accept this. How about we challenge her? Only when she has proved herself that's only when we will all accept her.” a lady said.

Challenge!!!

Shit they are in to kill me.

But I can't show them my fear.

I need to be strong.

Nolan let out a loud growl.

“I agree with her. We can't have a weak luna. Either she accepts the challenge or she is disqualified as our luna.”

Now I am fed up. I am fed up of people looking down on me and doubting me. I am fed up of people making decisions for me. I am so fed up.

Even if its going to cost my my life or some broken bones, I will prove to them my worth and gain their respect.

I walked in front of Nolan with my head high.

“Ocean what are you doing?”

I heard him whispering to me, but I ignored him.

“I accept your challenge for the luna position.”
