I watched as my younger dragged my mate to her room. I looked at them and let out a sigh before turning to look at Julian.
“Why did you let her leave the house? She almost caused an issue here. You know how Ocean can get so protective.” I said to him.
“Am so sorry man. You know how your sister can be. I just mistakenly mentioned your mate and the next thing I know was she was running here. I couldn't stop her because of how fast she was.” he said.
I looked at him and knew for a fact he wasn't lying because I clearly know who the hell my sister is. She is the loudest and mischievous one among the twins.
“But what's up with you and your mate? Anything yet?” I heard Julian ask.
“Well for now nothing yet. I am still giving her time to adjust with the environment and all since it's new to her.” I answered.
“You need to step up your game that's all I can tell you. Well I was thinking you could also use the help of your sister. She can talk to her on your behalf.” he suggested.
“No Julian. I will talk to her myself because she is my mate. I will be the one to get her myself.”
“But are you really okay with her kids?” Julian asked.
“Of course yes I am. I am totally okay with her children besides they are cute. My parents love them already and my wolf has no issue with them. Infact he sees them as his own pups.” I answered.
“Woah that's amazing. I just hope Luna accepts you. So what's up, when are you going to announce to everyone that we have a guest in our pack? The sooner the better so that no harm can come to Ocean or the kids.” Julian said.
He is actually right. I need to introduce Ocean and her kids to the pack members. But I want her to be comfortable and ready for it first.
“I will do that whenever Ocean is ready.” I replied.
Before seeing him, I could scent Ocean's child coming. Then I saw it was actually Jayden.
He looked at Julian and I with a frown on his face. I really do not understand this guy's problem. He is different from his sister.
His sister is the free type who smiles anytime she sees me but he always looks at me with a frown on his face. Some one will think I offended him in some kind of way.
“Do you need anything?” I asked him smiling.
“Can I ask you a question?” he asked.
“Sure you can ask me anything.” I said to him.
“Do you want my mummy as your mate?” he asked me.
“Your mummy is my mate already.” I answered him.
“But she has a mate who is my father.” he said looking me in the eyes like he was challenging me. For some reason, I could sense he has an alpha blood in him because no kid can look me in the eyes and talk to me like this kid is doing right now.
“But you dad isn't with her anymore so the moon goddess made me her second chance mate and I love your mummy so much. I want her to be my mate.” I said to him.
“You love my mummy?” he asked.
“Yes I do. I love her so much.” I answered.
“So you promise never to leave her right?” he asked.
Now I feel like his question has a secret meaning I didn't know about. Why does that mean actually? I thought Ocean's first mate died, or did he leave her? I am confused at the moment.
“Don't worry I will never leave her.” I answered the kid who was waiting for my answer.
“Alright then. You have my blessings. But the moment you hurt her, you will face me.” he said before walking away.
Did that kid just threaten me?
I turned to see Julian was stunned also just like I was.
“I have a single advice for you my friend. Be careful of that kid.”
