“Alpha the treaty has been signed by the other pack. We can now finalize the whole document.” I heard Julian say making me to nod my head.
“Are you okay my friend? You have been spaced out ever since.”
I looked up to see both Julian and Kayden looking at me.
I lifted up my side lips a little.
“How can I be fine when my father and mother keep nagging for me to find my mate? Trust me I have really tried in finding her but she is not just anywhere around here. I have looked all over and you both who are my best friends know exactly what am talking about because you have been with me while I look around for her. I have honestly tried my best in searching for her. Yet I can't find her but my parents just won't understand this. They keep talking and talking. I am really loosing it because I am not at peace with my life situation.” I said bitterly.
“I believe you will be fine my friend. The moon goddess knows why she is delaying you this much. I'm sure you will find her soon. She might be around somewhere.” Kayden said.
“Around where and why is it so hard to find her. Why?”
“Look you know what? I think we should hit the bar this evening. That way you can free your mind a little bit. I will call Talia to tell her I will be coming back late.” Julian said as he brought out his phone.
I turned to look at Kayden and he was also doing the same thing as Julian.
Both my best friends have their own mate but I am here, twenty two years without a mate. How sad can life be?
I just wish I can find my mate pretty soon. I need her badly. I want know how it feels like to love and be loved. I really do not mind if she ugly or so slim I really don't care how she looks. I just want to see her.
“Alpha we just caught rogues trying to enter our pack.” I heard a guard say through our mindlink.
I let out a growl. I hate hearing the sound of rogues. I take my pack seriously that's why I am being called the fierced alpha. I don't joke it comes to threats that comes to my pack.
“Lock them up. I will come myself to interrogate them.” I said through the mind link.
“Yoh why are you looking so angry? Let me guess you just got a bad news about a threat.” Julian said smiling.
“Some f*****g rogues were caught trying to enter my territory.” I said angrily.
“Uh ohh I feel so scared for them already because you look ready to crush them.” Kayden said laughing.
“These rogues never hear word. They keep coming even when I use them as scapegoats. They still do not learn.” I growled.
I stood up.
“I will go there right now. I need to use the anger that is boiling inside me on those f*****g idiots.”
“I will come with you to watch.” Kayden said sounding so excited.
“I am coming too. I can't miss out.” Julian said.
We all walked out of the office and headed to the prison where rogues were kept.
“Where are the rogues that were captured today?” I asked the guard.
He walked in front and we followed him behind.
Then I froze the moment the most sweetest scent entered my nostrils.
I have never in my life smelt that before. But how is it that in this disgusting piece of s**t of a prison, I can perceive this scent? I need to find where it's coming from.
I pushed the guard who was in front and began to follow the way it was coming from.
Then I stopped and looked into a cell. In there I saw a beautiful woman. When I say beautiful, she is absolutely breathtaking. She looked at me with her beautiful eyes which were so unique and so blue.
From this moment I declare Blue to be my best color. Sorry brown but I have seen a color that is better than you.
Something caught my attention as I was still staring at her. I looked at her laps and saw two children holding her tightly as they looked at me with fear in their eyes. For some reason my wolf wanted to protect the two angels.
But who are they? Are they her children? But how is that possible that my mate have children?
I looked back at her face and noticed she was looking confused and scared as she was staring at me.
“Alpha what's going on? Do you know the rogues?” I heard the guard of earlier say.
So my mate was the rogue who entered my pack. I can't help but feel thankful to the moon goddess for bringing her to me.
“Hey Nolan what's wrong? Why aren't you saying anything? Do you know them?” Julian asked.
With my eyes fixed on her I said.
“She is my mate.”
“No I am not your mate stop lying to them.” she said looking at me with anger in her eyes. Oh her voice sounds so lovely.
Wait a minute did she just deny me or reject me?
