OCEAN POV

I watched as Jayden and Jade were happily playing with Allison. Jade kept on talking and talking telling her about stories while my baby boy only contributed when he was needed.

I on the other hand wasn't at peace with myself. I couldn't think straight about that alpha. I needed to leave this place because I no longer feel comfortable. I can't stay in a place where I am being addressed as the alpha's mate when am not. I have a mate already and I don't wish to have another because of what I went through.

“Ocean are you fine? You look so spaced out.”

I looked at Allison and noticed my children were not here. I didn't know when I jumped up from the couch.

“WHERE IS MY CHILDREN? WHERE DID YOU TAKE THEM TO?” I asked feeling Zuri about to take control also because we were worried for our pups.

“Woah calm down, they ar...........” she started but a growl stopped her.

I turned to see who the f**k just let out a growl. I saw a huge man who is almost the size of the alpha of this pack. He was growling angrily at something. But something told me he was growling at me because his eyes were on me.

Right now, I really am not in the mood to fight with anyone. I just need to know where my children are. Why on earth will I be so absent minded and not notice when they left?

The man growled again making me get so upset because I wanted my kids and not to hear his annoying noise.

I let Zuri take control and she let out a furious growl. The man's face changed for a second and he looked so surprised that I actually growled back at him.

He began to walk to me looking angry again. He sees me as an enemy and I really don't care because if he wants a fight I will give it to him. I need to get him off my sight so I will find my children.

All of a sudden Allison jumped right in front of me staying in the middle of the man and I.

“Honey calm down she is not an enemy.” she said to the man.

Oh he is her mate. Which means he is....

I swallowed the gasp which was about to escape from my mouth.

I almost fought with an Alpha and Nolan's father at that. What is wrong with me? I would have been killed even before seeing my kids.

“Then can you explain to me why she was growling at you earlier?” he asked in a deep voice that made me shiver in fear.

“She was just asking about her pups. You know how mothers can be when they don't see their pups around.” Allison explained making him to calm down.

She turned to look at me and smiled.

“So sorry about that Ocean. My mate can be so protective all the time. About your children, they are in the kitchen. They said they were hungry so I told them to go get something to eat in the kitchen. You seems absent minded that you didn't realize they had left.” she said to me in a very calm voice.

“I am so sorry for my behavior. I didn't know what came over me. I shouldn't have reacted that way.” I apologized shamelessly.

“Oh no it's fine you don't need to apologize. Trust me I totally understand where you are coming from.” she said smiling.

“But honey I don't think I have ever seen her before. If I have seen her anywhere I will know but I haven't so can you tell me who is she where is she coming from.” Nolan's father asked looking right at my face. I had to look down because I couldn't look back at him. My status is not up to his so I need to give him that respect.

“Nolan came with her. I have no idea who she is I only know her name and her kids are so adorable. Honey guess what? I am now a grandma of two angels. They are so cute. You need to see them...... oh speaking of the two angels, see them coming.” Allison said.

My head moved up immediately and I saw my children running to me happily with they mouths dirty with chocolate.

“Mummy mummy come have a taste. This cake is so sweet and the chocolate is amazing.” Jayden said smiling as he ran with a piece of cake in his hand.

I smiled immediately feeling so at peace that my kids are fine and they are happy.

They ran to me and made me eat the cake from their hands.

“How is it mummy? Is it nice? Do you like it? Do you hate it?” Jade asked me looking at me waiting impatiently for my answers.

“I love it baby. It's nice. Thank you.” I said as I hugged the both of them not minding how dirty they were.

Jade and Jayden turned and I am guessing that's when they saw Nolan's father.

Jayden moved the front pushing his sister behind him close to me.

“Who are you?” he asked catching me by surprise.

He isn't the type to talk immediately but right now it looks like he was trying to protect his sister and I. Now I feel like crying because it seems like my babies are growing so fast.

Allison began to laugh while Nolan's father smiled looking surprised at my son.

“Hey little man. My name is Dylan. What's your name? He answered.

“My name is Jayden. I hope you are not trying to hurt my mother?” my boy asked making me to open my eyes wide.

“Of course not. I can't do that not when she has a strong scary kid like you who can protect her. I can't do such a thing.” Dylan said clearly playing around with my son but he was happy to hear that.

“Good.” Jayden said and moved closer to me.

“So are you grandma's mate?” Jade asked seeing that her brother has come back.

“Yes I am.” Dylan answered smiling at her.

“Does that mean you we get to call you grandpa also?” she asked him.

“Of course. I don't mind.” he answered.

She shouted yeyyyy and ran to hug him. Now the way my kids are getting so attached to this people is alarming. I can't have them being so close to them because we will be leaving her soon. We can't stay here.
