NOLAN POV

I kept punching the punching bag over and over again. I couldn't control my strength. I just wanted to let everything out. I just don't understand why this is happening to me.

First I find my mate who doesn't want me and second she has kids. Does that mean she still has a mate somewhere? Then will the moon goddess decided to complicate my life. Just why. What have I done to her that she keeps toying with my sanity? I really want to hate her but I can't.

There must be a reason for all this and I must get to the bottom of this.

All I know is am never going to give up on my mate. I can't help for fall for her because she is beautiful and I love how bold she is especially when she wants to protect her children. I can't hate her kids also because they are all innocent and they look cute also.

Gosh I can't think straight right now.

“Bro can you calm down. You are hurting the innocent bag. It has done nothing wrong to you.” Julian said as he was sitting on the floor watching me.

“I really can't think straight at the moment Julian. You saw and heard everything. Does it make any sense to you?” I asked him as I removed my punching gloves and sat on the floor.

“I think she might have lost her mate or something. Maybe that's why and you know the lost of someone you love can put you in a denial situation. You deny everything. That's how you mourn. I am guessing that's the reason she is acting this way.” he said.

“I don't think she lost her mate. My wolf doesn't feel any connection of her and another male who is her mate. It's like she never had a mate before.” I said.

“Then how can you explain her children? Where the hell are they coming from? You and I know a she wolf can't bear another male child except he is her mate.” he said stating the obvious facts.

“You are so right. She does have so many secrets which she is hiding. I will make sure to find out the whole truth about her life. I am so curious about her.”

“Can we go now it's getting late and my mate is waiting for me. You should go and check on your guests to see how they are doing. You shouldn't leave them all alone.” he said as he stood up.

I stood up and dusted my shorts. We walked back home. He went to his house while I went to mine.

On a normal day, I always enter a quiet house but today was different. Right from the door I could hear noises. I was confused to what was going on in my house.

I opened the door and saw my mate sitting down without saying any word but she had a small smile on her face. Opposite her was her children playing with my parents. I couldn't even see Kayden around.

“Nolan you are back welcome back my baby.” my mum said when she saw me.

From the side of my eyes, I noticed the small smile on my mate's face diminishing.

“Mum, Dad what are you both doing here? You didn't tell me you were coming.” I said to them.

“We just came to check up on you because we were passing by when we saw this little cuties and now we can't leave because we are having fun with them.” my mum answered.

“Now that you are here son, sit down and tell us who your guests are because Ocean here doesn't want to say a thing to us about herself.” my dad said looking at me. He wanted to know who she is because he too is an alpha and he deserves to know who is the visitor in our pack and if the person means harm or not.

I looked at Ocean and I could see clearly in her face she didn't want me to tell them who she was to me. Call it instincts but I just know what is running through her mind.

“She is a rogue which we caught earlier. But she pleaded she wants to stay in our pack for safety.” I answered looking at my dad.

“She is a rogue yet you brought her to your home? How about the pack house?” he asked looking at me with a suspicious look in her eyes.

“Well dad the reason why I couldn't take her there is because I haven't introduced her to the pack members yet. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable around them since they don't know her. That's why as the alpha, I thought it will be best to just bring her here will I go think of what next to do.” I replied.

“Nolan you did the right thing by bringing her here. Am sure she is more comfortable here than over there which is crowded with people. I just hope you accept her because I really don't want her and her two angels to leave. They don't look like they will harm anyone. They need our help and protection so we will give it to them.” my mum said knowing she will be able to change my dad's mind.

“Alright if you say so but do they want to actually stay here?” my dad asked looking at my mate.

“Yes I want to stay. Please let us stay here.” her little daughter shouted.

“Me too I want to stay here. Mummy please let's stay here. I love grandma and grandpa already. Please let's stay here.” her son said looking at her.

I also want her to stay. If she stays her, I can slowly get to know her better and fight for her love and acceptance to be her mate. I badly need her and I want her to be mine.

She looked at them and I couldn't see the conflict in her eyes. She clearly didn't want to stay any longer but her kids wanted to stay.

Now let's see if she will accept to stay for her kids sake or she will still insist on leaving because she doesn't want to be around me.
