I drove Max and me to his brother’s house.
“What’s your brother’s name?” I asked.
“Max,” said Max.
“Um, they named you both Max?” I asked, wondering what kinda nut jobs he had for parents.
“Well, he’s not my biological brother. I’m adopted and I happened to already be named Max. Max wanted to be Max One and make me Max Two but my parents didn’t allow it. They let us both be Max,” said Max One.
I already mentally decided to call his prankster brother Max Two since he wanted to be Max One.
“That’s good parenting,” I complimented. “It’s not your fault, you were also named Max. You shouldn’t have to change it just cause you’re the adopted one,” I said, already annoyed with Max Two.
“Yeah!” Exclaimed Max One indignantly.
