A wooden cabin made by the Alpha held a deeper meaning . It meant that the Alpha is capable of providing for a family and being a support that a family need.

It is a silent proposal for mating.

And that is why Rosie broke down into a sobs because many Alphas tend to leave this tradition behind, thinking that it is nothing but just some waste of time. Noah made an effort to show how much serious he is in the relationship how Rosie means so much to him. Rosie couldn’t ask for more.

They have been dating for five years. Noah had courted her for one year before dating her. At first she was not ready to date him because the said Alpha was kind of scary with his huge build but later she learnt how the Alpha is the most sweetest wolf she had ever met.

Their relationship was frown upon because wolves tend to get mated and start a family at a very young age. It was their nature, to claim and to be claimed but for Noah and Rosie it was different. Both of them thought that they are too young to be mated and so they waited long enough .

An alpha without an Omega or beta mate isn’t allowed to do the chores that are supposed to be done by Alphas, like hunting, guarding and protecting.

Each Alpha is supposed to get a mate at least at the age of twenty five. Till then they are trained to fight, to hunt and to withstand the toughest situation possible. They are trained to make their future Omega feel safe and protected . Noah is soon turning twenty six. He can’t always depend on his parents to feed him . He is old enough to start a family of his own and starting a family with Rosie is something he had always dreamt of.

“ I thought that you won’t ask me this year as well.” Rosie said, cheeks red from blushing so much, eyes still moist with tears. They both were still locked in each other’s embrace.

“ Mating night is just one week away and I can’t wait for another year to make you mine.” Noah said with a glint of anticipation in his eyes as his arms tightened around her a little. Though in relationship, they had never went beyond the normal skin ship. As far as they have gone was making out in the forest and nothing more. They had waited so long to be together with each other completely and be one .

Rosie blushed as she thought about the mating night and what was supposed to happen at that night. As much as she is nervous about the whole thing, she can’t help the pervert part of her that is clearly excited to see her boyfriend well toned bod---

She shook her head to clear up her pervert thoughts. Frowning to herself she buried her face in his chest to stop Noah from looking in her eyes. Her scent was turning too sweet.

“ I am excited to finally call you mine.” She said with a shy smile adoring her lips as she looked up at him again, eyes crinkling with happiness . She rested her chin on the Alpha’s chest while looking at him dreamily. Noah smiled at her before leaning down and capturing her lips into a passionate kiss.

They have waited for so long that now they just can’t wait any longer.

“ I can’t believe that my baby has grown so big that she will soon be mated!” Alice---- their mother ---- murmured looking already on the verge of crying her heart out . Her strawberry scent leaking throughout the room, it was extra sweet today.

The Roberts cabin was a mess as soon as Rosie announced on the dinner that she is getting married on the mating night this year which was a week away. They don’t have much time left .

Mating night is the night of first full moon of the winter. It is the belief of the wolves that in this night there are great blessing upon them by the moon goddess.

This night, the young wolves are wedded off to the each other in front of the entire pack , under the moonlight that is supposed to be the blessings of the moon goddess.

It was compulsory that no wolf would mate another wolf on any night that wasn’t the first full moon of the winter. If you can’t find a mate this year you have to wait for next year to mate in case if you found your mate. This was the ritual which was followed for years.

This night was a night of festive, two souls are tight together with a bond . To gain a specific rank , Alpha’s try to mate on this night.

The entire pack is decorated, delicious food is made and wolves dances to their heart content.

“ He made the entire cabin for me , mom! Right in front of our future cabin he asked me to mate him! “ Rosie giggled, her complexion getting red just as the colour of the dress she was wearing. Her happiness was enough to make everyone feel happy. Mr Roberts were silent, feeling sad that his princess is now all grown up.

“ That’s very romantic to him rose . “ Fleur said as she smiled down at her sister, eyes turning into crescent when she smiled.

“He is romantic.” Rosie said with a smile of her own. “ I am just so excited for this. I am going to start a new life with him!” She exclaimed as if it was a news that she didn’t knew.

Rosie was radiating with energy and Fleur laughed at her. The girl was beyond happy . Her rose scent clogging the entire place at no one bothered her to tell her to keep her pheromones down. They let her squeal and swoon by the new found happiness.

Rosie deserve to be happy after all she was the best sister, best daughter and they all knew that she would be an amazing mate too.

The entire family looked so happy from the news that no one noticed how alone and empty Fleur was feeling at the moment. This year too no one had bothered to court her , no one has showed slightest bit of interest in her. Even though she knew that no Alpha would want her, yet her Omega craved for the mate.

She was happy for Rosie , genuinely happy. She was an amazing sister one could ever ask for but that doesn’t mean that she just can’t be a little upset .

She too wanted a family with her Alpha, she too wanted to have lots of pups running around the house. She too wanted to be loved and wanted someone whom she could love.

What had she done wrong for moon goddess to treat her like this? She worship the moon goddess daily, asking for her forgiveness for the mistake that she didn’t remember committing.

Other omegas who are not even religious are living their lives to the fullest and Fleur who loves to worship the moon goddess daily is living a life as if she had sinned.

She prays to the moon goddess to grant her a little bit of happiness that she wanted. She just wanted to live a life like an normal Omega.

She prays to moon goddess to have mercy on her. She would be a great Omega, an amazing mate . Just give her a chance.
