Will You Mate Me, Rosie?

A soft sigh escaped her lips as soon as all the vegetables were placed in her basket. She stood up , grunting a little about how her muscles felt so stiff from sitting for so long. It has been hours since she was doing the gardening . She straighten her long white cotton dress which was now painted with dirt. Her mom would surely lecture her about how dirty she gets each time she gets out . But right now Fleur didn’t care. As she took the basket in her hand and walked towards her cabin that she shares with Rosie and her mom and dad. It was kind of common that the omegas share cabin with their parents until they find their own mate and move in with them.

The sun is too bright, she squints her eyes a little. Her lavender scent blooming as she walk by , getting attention of many wolves who are returning back home after hunting. Some stared at her for too long. Even though she was covered in dirt she looked beautiful nonetheless.

Fleur’s pack is a mountain pack . This pack isn’t big by any means but they are satisfied with what they have. And as cherry on the top the wolves in this pack were skilled, some in gardening, some in hunting , some in fighting, cooking and some in taking care of the pups.

The duties in the pack are divided. Omegas are supposed to take care of the pups and do the gardening so that the pack won’t face scarcity of vegetables and fruits. Whereas , Alphas and betas take care for meat and so they basically do all the hunting work. Omegas were seen as a weak creatures but over decade that changed and now omegas do the hunting too. The healer of this pack is an Alpha.

Alpha and beta go to hunting each morning with some Omegas and hunts till afternoon.

As winter is approaching soon , wolves are busy to secure sufficient food for the entire pack. Many omegas are pregnant too which means that their will be pups in near future.

Omegas her age have gotten mated as soon as they turned eighteen. She had turned nineteen last moon . It is frowned upon if Omegas are not mated for too long. She should learn to live with the fact that she is destined to be alone all her life. Which Alpha would want to have a mate who can’t even give him a happiness if being a father?

Pups are important for Alphas as well as betas. The first feature that they search in their partner is the ability to give the pups to them. And if the Omegas can’t give them that then the Omegas automatically turn invisible for them as if they never existed and that is what had happened to Fleur.

Noah interlinked his fingers with Rosie who smiled up at him , cheeks blooming red showing that he had that effect on her . She always looked pretty when she smiled. Her smile was his favorite.

“ Where are we going?” Rosie asked, as she tilted her head a little to look at her boyfriend who has been silent since the moment they parted their ways from Fleur. Rosie is still feeling guilty for leaving all the work up to Fleur. Her younger sister is selfless completely. Sometimes Rosie fears that something bad could happen to her because of her selflessness. She often tells Fleur to be a little selfish to which she just shrugs in return.

“ It’s a surprise.” Noah said pulling her out of her trance of thoughts, smile was on his insanely handsome face . He looked ahead again , walking side by side, hand in hand. By his scent Rosie could tell that the guy was nervous .

Ever since they had parted their ways from Fleur Noah had started to act mysterious . He refused to talk much with her. His scent was somewhat sour, making Rosie’s wolf to claw at her chest , telling her to make her Alpha happy.

They have been walking a little away from their pack and where just by the boundary of the pack.

Rosie sighed dreamily. She loved the scent of the forest because it was a mixture of soil, water and trees, they were her favorite scent.

“ You are acting mysterious. Are you sure that you are not trying to kidnap me? “ She teased , voice light as she wriggled her brows at her boyfriend who smirked at her.

“ And what if I am?” He asked as he leaned his head a little down so that his head was inches away from her and her breath hitched as she moved away and looked at the ground, cheeks flaming red that contrasted so well with her blonde hair. He just chuckled at her.

“ I’ll run away.” She said , although both of them knew that she wouldn’t. She would never.

“ Too bad because I wanted to spent rest of my life with you. “ Austin said as he stopped walking. Rosie stopped walking too and looked at him with confusion on her face. He smiled at her before adverting his gaze towards something, Rosie followed his line of sight and her heart stopped beating for a second .

Because in front of her was a cabin made by teak wood. The color of the wood was little lighter than the original and Rosie had felt in love. The cabin wasn’t anything exceptional but it still held a weight of tons of her heart . Her heart was beating like crazy now.

“ Noah. . .” She whispered as she looked again at her boyfriend who was smiling so brightly at her that she thought she could just die of love.

When an Alpha gifts an Omega a cabin it symbolize a proposal for mating.

“ I love you with all my heart Rosie . You are the rose to the world of thorns . I want to spent my entire life with you by my side until we get old and all saggy . “ He said the speech that he had practiced for so long. He was proud of himself that he didn’t stuttered. A sob left Rosie’s lips as she hide her face in her hands . For the first time Noah didn’t stopped her from crying because they were the tears of happiness and love.

“ Rosie Roberts ,” he began voice so low that he could barely hear himself but Rosie heard him loud and clear. “ Will you make me the happiest Alpha on earth and please be my mate and my wife?”

Another sob escaped her throat, this time it was thick and earnest . She was sobbing right in front of her and yet he smiled.

“ Baby?” He called softly and soon he had a arms full of Rosie, face red and wet.

She was murmuring something against his shoulder but her voice was muffled in his shoulder.

“ Baby?” He called again , arms tightly holding his girlfriend. Even though he knew the a answer he still wanted ti hear it from her.

She leaned back from him and looked at him with teary eyes that held the entire universe of Noah . He still can’t believe that this Omega let him court her six years ago. How can he get so lucky?

“ Yes. . . “ She said with an airy laugh as she ran her nose on the curve of his boyfriend’s nose. “ Million times yes!” He shouted and that was all it too for Noah before he took her in his arms and swirled her around, laughing , giggling and kissing as they promised to walk together in the path that will lead them to the future which was filled with happiness and love.
