“ Ouch!” Rosie winced as a thorn of the trees pressed into her arms, digging a little but not enough to draw blood. She sighed as she moved away from the tree. The darkness of the dawn making it impossible to see what was in her way. Her eyesight in human form was not very powerful as that of her wolf form but she didn’t want to turn into her wolf, not when she wanted to see her future Mate. Also, she hated to get in her wolf form because the arranging and rearranging of bones was a painful procedure.

And so she walked further into the forest, her robe clenched in her fist as she tried to not trip over her own feet, she was clumsy. Her shoes were worn out but she didn’t had time nor any material to get herself a new pair of shoes. Though she wanted matching shoes with Fleur as she thought that they would look cute.

It was just dawn and yet this Omega was wide away just because she hadn’t seen Noah for almost three days which was too long for her. They have never been separated from each other for more than a day.. She missed him dearly . Days without him felt so heavy and long.

She had snuck out of their cabin without making any noise , not wanted her mother to see her sneaking away. She made sure that Fleur was not awake because Fleur is a scaredy cat who fears everything and she fears about going into the forest the most. And she had every right to be scared of the forest

According to some Alphas there are some very dangerous wild animals in the heart of the forest. Even Alpha’s find it hard to fight with them if by any chance they had an encounter. And so omegas are not allowed to visit forest without a company as omegas are naturally have a smaller built .

It wasn’t like Rosie wasn’t scaredy cat herself but she just can’t help it. The sudden urge to welcome her boyfriend back was something that she has to do, she wanted to do.

Winter is coming soon, sooner than anticipated and once the winter starts finding prey would be hard. Their pack wasn’t big but it wasn’t small either and this year many pups were born under the guidance of the moon goddess. To feed them with best meat to keep them strong and help them to grow up healthy was all the pack leader wanted to do. Also wolves tend to depend on meat a lot for strength so they can’t possibly spent this winter by just eating vegetables.

Alpha Eliot , the leader of the pack was a kind Alpha and he would think about his pack first . His pack’s well being was all that he could ask for. He was young Alpha who had just taken the position of head Alpha and so his way of guiding the pack was a lot different than the previous head Alpha. He was open minded as well as kind and was also one of the few friends of Noah.

And that is why he asked few of the Trainee Alphas to accompany him to gather some food for the pack to hunt to the other part of the forest. Trainee Alphas are not generally taken for long stay hunting but he decided the otherwise. The Omegas would look after their gardening whereas Alpha would bring them meat but in his guidance there was a Crack in the stereotype.

“ Why are there so many thorns all over here!” She groaned under her breath and tugged roughly on her dress that was stuck on some plant. But her luck was already on the bad as she heard a fabric teared up as she tugged some more. She stopped immediately when she heard the noise and once again she groaned. Her mother would give her a earful after what she had done. This was one of her few best dress that she wore to impress Noah but guess it didn’t work. It was one of her favorite too. She pouted to herself mentally scolding herself for wearing this dress.

“ How many times do I have to tell you that you shouldn’t come here?” A voice said and by the smell of cedar wood spreading into the air and surrounding her completely, Rosie knew who the Alpha was. A smile broke over her face in recognition.

“ Sorry but I missed you.” She said as she turned in her place to look at her future mate with adoration and love filled in her deep blue eyes. Noah was standing just few steps away from her and by the way his scent sweetened just the slightest, she knew that he was happy to see her just as much as she is to see him.

Noah took few steps and he was standing right in front of her. Under the moonlight that was slowly fading away , Rosie can clearly see her boyfriend’s face. He was a few centimetres taller than her and she loved it. She always had attraction to taller Alpha.

“ I missed you too.” Noah replied as he tugged Rosie close to his body and hugged her close to his chest. Her rose scent calming him to the bones. “ And I know that you miss me too but I have told you numerous times that you should stop coming to the forest and that too all alone.” He scolded but his voice didn’t had any bite and Rosie smiled against his chest, nuzzling into him some more.

“ I won’t do this next time. I promise.” She said but Noah chuckled knowing full well that that was a lie.

“ That was what you told me few days ago and before that too.” He pointed out and about Rosie wanted to stomp her feet on the ground and act like a brat but can’t she even meet her boyfriend now? They have been dating for two years and this two years had been the best years of her lives. Noah was everything that she ever wanted. He was caring and loving. He never went far from making out. Rosie had told him that she wanted to wait till mating for being intimate and Noah had been respectful.

Despite being two years older than her, he shared the same stupid mentality like her and Fleur would often say that how annoying they are.

Noah often acted sappy in front of Fleur just to tease her.

Rosie was the one who pulled away from the kiss and looked at Noah, her hand came to his face , caressing it softly as she would. She was inspecting him for any possible injury . The sweet gesture melted Noah’s heart and he just can’t wait to finally mate her and make her his wife.

“ Were you Hurt?” She asked, voice lacing with concern and Noah melted yet again.

“ No.” He replied, his hands were still resting on her waist as if he feared that she would disappear any moment.

“ Good otherwise I would have hurt you even more.” She said with a pout and encircled her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. “ Where are the others?” She asked as she finally decided to look around . She didn’t smell any wolf of their pack. Noah was watching her and trying not to laugh. When she looked at him with confused gaze , he decided to answer her.

“ We came back almost an hour ago. I was about to go your cabin.” He said and saw how her eyes widened . “ But I found the trail of your scent coming here so I came to bring you back to the pack.” He explained and her cheeks flushed ad the embarrassment drip down to her heart.

“ Oh god..” She whispered.

He moved forward and pressed his forehead against her forehead as he smiled.

“ You don’t have to miss me after a week.” He announced, a teasing smile plastered on his face.

She furrowed her brows at him, lips turned into a pout as she looked at him. “ Why?”

“ We are getting mated in a week , silly .” He laughed as he finally pulled her into a kiss.
