Chapter Three
Aiden POV
Shit, she agreed so f*****g easily. I’m baffled.
I mean I know she would jump off of a bridge for her father, but this… Agreeing just like that… I really have a shot at winning her sooner than I thought.
She crosses her legs, resting her hands in her lap. The skirt of her dress rides up, displaying her magnificent and toned thighs.
This is a woman who works on her appearance, but clearly not too hard.
“Alright, Mr. Sinner. Let’s get our lawyers in contact with each other and get the contract signed. I assume care for my father will start as soon as I turn my life over to you?”
There’s a bit of a bite in her tone that makes me want to bend her over my knee, but I can’t just yet. Instead I flex my jaw.
“Yes. I suggest you sign tomorrow, seeing as there’s no way of knowing when your father will pass.”
“He has at least two weeks” Odelia states in a very business like fashion.
“Still, the sooner the better. And besides, the sooner I can tie you down and do whatever I want with you, the better it will be for me.” I tell her with a smirk.
To my surprise, her face remains carefully composed. I watch as she pulls out her phone, presumably to look at her calendar.
“I’m available tomorrow from 4-4:30. Meet me here with your lawyer. In case you are late, know that I never wait more than five minutes for most one on one meetings for the other party to show up. For you I’ll wait seven. If you are not here at 4:07, I’m going to go back to preparing for my meeting at 4:30. Good day, Mr. Sinner.” She tells me, standing up and walking to the door.
She’s in complete business mode right now, and f**k it’s hot.
“Until tomorrow, baby girl.”
She slams the partially open door and turns slowly, glaring at me.
“It’s Mrs. Langdon, or Odelia if you insist. But I am not a baby, nor am I a girl. Nor am I ever going to be happy with you.”
With that she turns and opens the door, confidently strutting out.
I’m going to need to work on that attitude with her. It’s hot when she shows her business woman side in public, but she will obey me in both public and private.
And behind closed doors, I will make damn sure she submits to me.
Come 4pm tomorrow, Odelia Langdon will be mine. Get ready, baby girl.
Odelia POV
Fucking conceited asshole. No different from high school. Always getting what he wants, when he wants.
But why me?
Sure, I’m not bad to look at. In fact, I have a ridiculous amount of people constantly hitting on me.
But Aiden f*****g Sinner? Out of all the women that would beg for the contract I’m about to have to sign… why would he choose someone who doesn’t even find him attractive?
Okay, that part’s a lie. I definitely find him attractive. That man is a hot piece of ass, and if I wasn’t in this situation with him- I’d totally agree to have a one night stand with him.
But that’s besides the point.
I’m currently sitting in the conference room, and it’s already the next day. I am literally about to sign away a significant portion of my life.
My lawyer and I both look over the contract while Aiden and his lawyer sit across the table from us.
I lean over to whisper in my lawyer, Lawrence’s, ear.
“How is this going to effect publicity in the company?” I ask.
“Only positively. Being married to Mr. Sinner will bring plenty of fantastic attention to your corporation. Not that you need it, but it won’t hurt. As for your own personal life, get ready to have paparazzi following you almost everywhere you go.” He whispers back.
“f**k me” I swear under my breath, picking up the pen next to the contract.
I read over all of the fine print, and it stated pretty much exactly what Aiden said. I will marry him within the six months. Before that, I will be living with him. I can still keep my own apartment, but when he asks me to stay with him- I can’t disagree. Treatment will begin for my father within twelve hours of signing the contract, yada, yada, yada.
I hover the pen over where I sign, taking a deep breath.
The s**t I do for family.
Closing my eyes I quickly sign the paper before sliding it back to Aiden and his lawyer. Aiden wears a smirk while I’m holding in tears.
My independence is something I completely and truly cherish. Without it, I’m not sure what I would be. Sure, I still have free reign over the company. But when it comes to personal life, I have to listen to Aiden in almost every matter.
And as the contract stated, if I disobey, he can physically force me to obey.
“Great, now that we finally have that out of the way, we can start our relationship.” Aiden says. I nod quietly, mulling over in my mind anything I can do to get out of this once my fathers treatment is complete.
I’m not going to kill Aiden, because that’s just not who I am.
Perhaps Lawrence can find a loophole? That’s certainly something that we’ll discuss later on.
“Delia, would you like to go out to dinner with me tonight?”
I look Aiden in the eye.
“Do not call me Delia. You don’t deserve to. And right now we’re not in public, so I have no obligation to play the loving spouse. As to your offer- I would rather chew a lightbulb than dine with you, but it doesn’t appear I have an option.”
Aiden’s smile doesn’t falter.
“Perfect. I’ll pick you up from your apartment at 7. Wear formal attire, we’re going to a nice place to celebrate.
“Right. Because I’m so f*****g excited.” I snap sarcastically.
It’s 6:55 when Aiden calls me and tells me he’s waiting in the limo outside for me. I zip up the elegant black dress I’m wearing. It’s off the shoulders with a sweetheart neckline.
As soon as I’m out of the building I see Aiden standing at the door of his limo, waiting for me. He offers me a bright smile before opening the door and motioning for me to get in.
“Where are we going?” I question.
“My house” he responds, pulling out his phone.
I raise an eyebrow. “If we’re going to your house, why did I dress up nicely?”
“Because I told you to, and you will listen to me. Besides, the dinner will be nice and high quality. And the activities to follow won’t require any clothing.”
I tense up.
“You’re going to f**k me tonight?” I ask.
He puts down his phone. “Not just f**k, but make love. You are my partner and the woman I love, and I want to make love to you.”
I suppress the urge to put my face in my hands.
“I’m not consenting. I don’t want to have s*x with you.”
Aiden manages to pull me onto his lap, despite my struggles.
“Oh, baby girl. You consented once you signed that contract.”
I swear under my breath. He’s right. He can legally do whatever he wants, but that doesn’t make it morally correct.
“Sometimes morality needs to out-rule legality, Aiden. You’ll do well to remember that.” I snap.
“And you’d do well to mind how you speak to your dominant behind closed doors, Odelia.”
