-Vivian-
"We are a big family and all take care of each other," Stefano tells me.
I hope I fit in and that they are indeed as nice as he tells me.
Not much later, Andrew parks the car, and Stefano gets out and opens the door for me.
"Welcome to the club." He smiles, and I look at the name on the front of the property "Club F." Not very original, but it will work, the property looks large and luxurious.
"We never use the main entrance, we always go through the side entrance, it is especially for staff." He explains and I nod and he looks at me.
"Sorry, I'm going to forget that," I sigh and he laughs.
"You learn very quickly here that you have to use your voice. You have a voice, use what it's for." He smiles and he walks to the side, and the door flies open before Stefano is there and someone comes out angry and curses in a language I don't understand.
Stefano shouts something back in also a language that I do not understand and the man who came out looks up.
"Oh sorry." He exclaims and he holds out his hand and if I want to shake his hand he kisses my hand too.
"Why are you doing that?" I ask, and the man looks up.
"You talk too softly." He says with a grin.
"What are you going to do here?" he asks me
"Dancing," I answer him and he laughs and he looks at Stefano.
"Luca, stop this, she comes here to dance. This is Vivian Ward." He tells him and Luca looks at me from Stefano.
"Ahh, Vivian Ward." He answers as if he knows who I am.
"Welcome. I'll see you later. I need to pick up some stuff. Have fun." He smiles at me, he winks and he walks to another black car and he drives away.
"Are you coming?" asks Stefano and I walk in behind him.
It smells nice, I don't know what I expected, but I didn't expect it to smell good in a strip club.
"We will first go to Christiano's office and do the tour upstairs and then the tour downstairs can be done later." He informs me.
I walk behind Stefano through the darkly upholstered corridor, the lighting is atmospheric and almost romantic.
There is a large wide staircase to the top, it is an old wooden staircase with a red carpet in the middle that is finished with gold stitching.
At the top of the stairs, you can only go one way and that is to the right.
"All the offices are up here," Stefano explains and he points out.
"Here's the security." He points to a door and knocks before opening it.
Three men all look up at the same time and they smile kindly.
"Guys, this is Vivian, she's coming to work here too," Stefano introduces me and all three men grin at me, and one of the men winks.
"These three men are always here, they take turns. All three of them also live upstairs, on the top floor." He points up and I saw outside that this building had several floors.
"They keep an eye on everything that happens in this building and they are here for the safety of our ladies. If there is a problem on the floor, they are also the people who either solve the problem or send others to the right place to solve it." He continues to explain and the men nod.
"We will let you continue your meeting," Stefano smiles and he tells us that we are leaving the room.
We walk further along "This is Riccardo's office when he's here. Riccardo is here on average once a week, the rest of the time he works either at home or in the office where you were early this morning." Stefano explains and I nod.
He doesn't say anything about it this time and we walk on and then I'm surprised that the wall suddenly ceases to exist.
"If you look to the right now, you'll see the main stage." He tells me and I look down at the big room.
A large stage with three different stairs that run from the stage to the floor, in the space in front of the stage are round tables of different sizes and a different number of chairs.
The back row of tables are in a kind of booths, walled, so you have more privacy. Some of the tables have a large pole in the middle of the table and I can only think of what happens to that, I have never seen or let alone done such a thing.
"wow," I exclaim and Stefano chuckles.
"I said it in the car. Dancing and taking off your clothes here is different from sitting at home in your bathroom." He laughs and I nod.
"I see that." I sigh. I wasn't that confident before, but now the courage sinks completely into my shoes.
"Come, here's Christiano's office." He calls to me.
"Previously this was Roberto's office, he's the father of the two boys, but he has retired and Christiano manages the club, while Riccardo does all the other things together with his brother Marcello. Marcello also comes here a lot, but doesn't have his own office here." He tells me.
Does he expect me to remember all that?
He knocks on the door on the left.
"Come in." I hear a voice that resembles Riccardo's voice, but this voice immediately sounds much friendlier than the voice I heard this morning.
But maybe that was also due to the time. It was just getting light and it was still early.
Stefano opens the door.
"I have Vivian Ward with me." He informs the man in the office.
I look at the back of the man who is standing, in front of what looks like a copier.
He is wearing a grey suit, also black smooth hair, tightly combed back, and black neat shoes. This man is also big, but honestly admittedly, almost all men are big, compared to me.
"I don't know what you did with Riccardo," The man at the copier starts talking. He still hasn't turned around.
"But he was at work early, he never got to work early, you never have to count on him before ten o’clock and worse, I woke up early now. So you have to..." The man turns around and falls silent.
He looks at me from head to toe and he flaps his hand. Stefano laughs out loud and leaves me with the man alone.
He grins and puts the papers on his desk and he walks around the desk and holds out his hand.
"Vivian Ward." He smiles at me and I want to take his hand, but deftly as the man is he takes my hand exactly as Riccardo did and as the man outside did and he kisses the top of my hand.
"I'm Christiano Ferrante, but for everyone here, I'm just Chris." He smiles kindly and immediately puts me more at ease than Riccardo did.
"Where had I gone? Oh yes.." Chris looks up at me again and grins.
"I now understand why Riccardo got up early." He shakes his head smiling.
