Disappear Mayhem

Chapter eight

The week was going slowly like other weeks , they had to wrap up life in Louis street . Flora did everything she could to make moving hell for Kiara , knowing it would be absurd for Kiara to kick against moving , especially when moving was in favour of Stephanie . Breakfast that morning was as quiet as usual , only this time Kiara just kept staring at the food .

" if your not gonna eat , I'm quite hungry ", Alex said as he reached out to snatch Kiara's plates , but she used her fork to prick his hand .

" that's what you get for trying to snatch my food ", Kiara said as she giggled a bit and went back to staring at the food .

" I have good news , I found a house at Rackhanleys ," Mrs Olivier said excited of Kiara's first smile since the moving plans .

" Not Rackhanleys , Many say its so boring with no friends to make ", Alex said kicking against moving .

" Are we trying that again , see kids , it would be better if we don't play with fire , the end results could be real dangerous ", Mrs Olivier said as she angrily got up and went in .

" No mum , we aren't done yetv", Alex said .

                                                   Flora's POV

Are you serious , I'm really not gonna move because of someone's irresponsibility . I have to do something , yes Mum . breakfast was just concluded , at least not in peace . I'll go search for what I can find . She got up from her bed , and went to her mother's room door . she heard her talking , at least little .

" Ben .... I thought ..... okay with this , you get to ....... again . just quit following me ", Mrs Olivier said and paused .

" how did you know this , who told you , ...... is in the past now , and she has moved on , she believes ........ her dad , so don't worsen it ", Mrs Olivier said and Flora only heard little . Mrs Olivier walked into her bathroom , it was her chance to see what she could do about moving to Rackhanleys , who was that Ben mom spoke about , never mind , he wasn't her problem now , their conversation was so awkward , she couldn't help but think back to it , could it be that mum was cheating on dad , and got her boyfriend to kidnap him , no it couldn't be , stop imagining stuff , she just went to the wardrobe and opened it , trying to stop it from making sounds . she heard the shower go on , she was frightened , it was then she noticed that mum was still talking in a low voice . she couldn't find any paperwork , and to save herself the trouble , she just left the room .

" Ben ", Flora said in a low tone . Unsure of the situation , she just went into her room , and picked up her diary , and simply wrote ' no paperwork found , but new mystery , who is Ben , and is he connected to us moving and mum having an affair ' . She got up and kept the diary and went to the living room , where she saw Alex sitter .

" Any problem , you look puzzled ", Alex said as she sat beside him .

" No , it's just the shock of moving ", she said quietly .

" Rackhanleys is not a place for me , in fact I don't like it , there are no cool schools , with cool boys in them ", Alex said .

" yes , I love Louis street and I'll really miss my friends ", Flora said .

" Mum does all this for our good , but Rackhanleys is not the best place to go ", Alex said being considerate for once .

" you mean for Stephanie's sake ", Flora said disagreeing with Alex .

" Flora , all that matters is that we get to see her alright again , and moreover , who knows maybe she would change a bit now .

                                                      Stephanie's POV

I was sitting on my bed , when I got a call . it was Becky , no I won't answer the call , she didn't believe that a girl she had all faith in , that she never thought bad of Becky even though everyone thought bad of her because they did , but she let them force her into sending her (Stephanie) away from her brother's party . it might not had been her fault , she didn't have a choice , no she did , she could have refused , but she didn't , she did what they wanted , but no , she wouldn't join to do wrong , she picked the call .

" Hello Stephanie , I'm sorry for the other day ", Becky said .

" I understand , you needed to do it for them to stay at your party ", Stephanie said .

" I'll be coming over today , bye ", Becky said before hanging up .

She sat on her bed waiting for a knock , and she finally heard one . She got up and walked to the living room . She saw her mum talking to Becky . She managed to grab some words .

" you have to .... stay away from her , ......... leave ", She heard her mum say .

" okay , tell her that I'm sorry ", Becky said and Stephanie heard the door bang , she walked into the sitting room , and sat down .

" Mum , who was that ", Stephanie said .

" It was Becky , I told her to leave , you need to be by yourself , friends can't do any good for you but continue to break our heart ", Mrs Olivier replied .

" I get it ", Stephanie said as she ran into her room . it's heart breaking to be separated from friends , just when you are about to move , you have to be an introvert , and keep things to yourself , I think reading books would sustain me , a teardrop . My world is crashing down , all I ever asked for seems almost impossible , but I have to take on the life of this stranger .

I just have to accept it , mum means well for me , friends haven't done any good than disappoint me , I'll give that a break . it's almost impossible for me , the quiet extrovert to suddenly turn introvert . Too bad I and Chloe's dream of going to prom was chattered , I can't go without a boyfriend , which I can't get by being by myself , it's almost impossible . Speaking of Chloé I wonder where she is and how she is doing . I wish she hadn't gone , we were perfect together .
