The following day, Kevin woke up and rubbed his tired eyes. He felt miserable; it was going to take some time to get used to drinking alcohol again.
After he got dressed, he trudged downstairs to find Emily in the kitchen making breakfast. She seemed to be in a good mood, humming a song while she cooked.
When she saw Kevin at the doorway, she smiled, “Just woke up? Go wash and then come get some food!”
Kevin glanced at the table, there were two slices of toast, one fried egg, and a glass of milk, which looked fancy, but it would not be enough to fill him. He wondered if Emily had cooked them just for him.
"Wow, what's going on today? Is my sister making breakfast for us? Did something miraculous happen?" Nina teased when she saw Emily at the stove.
As the president of a large company, Emily never had time to cook. She only made the time when something important happened.
Looking at Nina, Kevin shrugged with a confused expression on his face.
"It is a secret, come and eat first!" Emily said happily and glanced at Kevin with a lovely smile.
After breakfast, Kevin drove the sisters to work; everyone seemed to be happy and cheerful. However, as soon as they pulled into the parking lot, Emily's secretary ran out, "President, something bad just happened! Jameson is here again. He had a lot of bodyguards and is trying to ruin the company. We couldn’t stop him!”
"f**k him! How dare he? I will show him what real terror is!" Kevin cursed and was about to rush inside when Emily grabbed his arm.
“No, Kevin! Let’s call the police! His men are not the easiest to deal with, seriously!”
"Don't worry; it will be fine!" Kevin replied, "Let's go up and take a look. If they have damaged anything, then I will ruin him, right here, right now!” Kevin swore.
It was evident to Kevin that Jameson had support from someone important; otherwise, he wouldn't dare to trash the offices.
They walked into Emily's office to find Jameson sitting in her chair with his feet on her desk. Kevin glared at Jameson; the injuries on his face were still visible.
The four large bodyguards dressed in black standing behind him watched Kevin closely. However, Kevin’s eyes were on only one man; he looked about 35 and was standing next to Jameson. The man had a different aura about him than the others. Kevin assumed he was a master of Kung Fu or other martial art.
"President Fox," Jameson nodded at Emily. He took papers from one of his men and threw them toward her, "Just save your energy and sign it! No one will save you today, no matter what!"
"Jameson, please just leave. Otherwise, I will have to call the police!” Emily warned.
"Call the police? Why is that? What did I do to you? I just came here to get you to sign the contract. If you don't sign, though, then I might cause a little scene.
Especially with the man next to you!"
Jameson and the man next to him continued to watch Kevin's every movement. After all, it was Kevin who had hurt him before. Nina may hurt him a little as well, but she was a woman, and Jameson found it kind of sexy.
The main reason they were there was to get the piece of land from the Fox family. But, the contract so unfair that nobody in their right mind would sign it.
Emily began to worry when she looked at Kevin. She thought that if Jake hadn’t helped him, Kevin would have been hurt. She believed he was strong but could not take on Jameson’s men.
She took out her phone and warned, “Listen, Jameson, you just hurt our security guard downstairs. If I call the police now, I believe they can be here in no time to help us. So, what do you say to that, Jameson?”
Jameson frowned, and the man next to him suddenly rushed toward Emily. He was going to try and get her phone before she called anyone. He was fast, and Emily screamed as she saw him coming at her.
Suddenly, a layer of spirit protection exploded in front of Emily. The man jumped back next to Jameson when he saw that Kevin would jump in to protect her.
"Kevin, are you okay?" Emily asked.
When Kevin and the man touched, they realized the strength of the other. Both knew that neither would be easy to defeat just by the minor collision they had for a brief moment.
“I am okay. You don’t need to worry,” Kevin assured the women. He watched them even closer after knowing what levels they were at.
"Not bad," The man murmured. He could tell Kevin was something else as he stepped back. It seemed like it was going to be a tough day for everyone.
"Mr. Jameson, we should leave. The bodyguards are not trained well enough to defeat him. That young man is also a master, so we need to think about this and come back later," The man whispered in Jameson's ear, then quickly added, "Chances are if this fight continues, we will likely lose."
He trusted the man next to him, but Jameson was deep in his own thoughts. After their fight, Jameson called his uncle and asked for help.
Pittsburgh was divided into three districts; the main district, the new district, and the old district. Adela and her people ran the main district. The rumors were that she knew Kung Fu and was good at it, but her grandmother was even better.
A man named d**k represented the old district and came from a large family. There was a martial art master in his family as well. Although he was powerful, he was not in the same league as Adela's grandmother.
Finally, Jameson’s uncle, Frank Cruise, was the master of the new district. He trained eight tough bodyguards on his own, and they were known as the Big Eight and were undefeated. Yet, the guards and Kevin seemed to be at the same level.
When Frank heard Jameson could earn more than one billion dollars with the land, he sent Andy and Joey from the Big Eight to help. Joey felt it was overkill to send two of them to force a woman to sign over land. He never expected that there would be a real master by her side. His hands slightly trembled as he wondered if he would be able to win in a fight until he thought about attacking at night to kill him.
