My rage doubled as the guards bundled her out. My wolf started acting up again. He wanted to take control to save our mate from me, but I didn't want him to take over. I turned to look at Gamma Austin, bursting in anger. He knew why I was furious at him and he spoke up as I kept in under my intense scrutiny.
“We have no proof that she actually killed Kate" he spoke up in his defense.
I grabbed the glass cup filled with tequila and gulped the content like it was water. “You don't know these creatures. They act innocent even though deep down they did it" I said, referring to my stepmother. How she would look and act innocent with my father to paint her as the better person.
“So what are you going do to her then?" he asked and I hurled the glass in my hand to the wall in rage.
