Chap-3

Standing on the last step of the stairs, I saw chaos in front of me. What the hell is going on?

I walked towards my dad who was yelling at some men.

"I said 15 guards and fighters, not 5! I'll punish you! Do your work properly!" he yelled at them. Veins popping up on his neck and forehead.

Is there a rouge attack or what?

"Dad what is happening? Is everything alright?" I said, worried.

"Oh don't worry, sweetie its just that Alpha's are coming and these stupid wolves aren't doing their work properly! " he scowled. I chuckled.

"But they were coming next week. Then why now?"

"There has been a attach on Alpha Elijah's pack." he said, turning around and along away  ending the conversation. Alpha Elijah's pack was our neighbor.

"Leah! Come here!" I heard my mom shouting from the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen to see six ladies working.

"Yes mom."

"Go and make cake! Hurry. Alpha's must be on their way." she said, pushing an empty bowl in my hands. I sighed and started making the mixture of vanilla chocolate cake.

Ding. Ding. Ding. Ding.

I pulled out headphones from my ears and walked into kitchen. Mom was still cooking something. And other ladies helping her. I opened the oven and pulled it out. Its sweet aroma filled the kitchen. I decorated it a bit with some icing and chocolate vanilla chips.

"Good work! Le!" a lady named, Ella said, examining my cake.

"Thank you. But I wish I could eat it!" I said, thinking about eating the delicious cake.

"Don't you dare! I'll chop off your fingers if you touch it!" my mom threatened.

"Okay okay! I won't. Cruel!" I said, putting cake in the fridge.

Later that day, I was listening to music when my room's door opened with a loud bang. I knew it was Skylar. She always do this. I opened my eyes to see her standing on the side of the with her one eyebrow raised.

"What?" I said, yawning

"What do you mean what! Won't you greet me?" she said, huffing.

"Welcome my Majesty welcome. I hope you had a safe journey." I mocked. Rolling my eyes.

"Yah I had a safe journey... but.." she said, blushing.

"But what?" I said, sitting upright.

"But we had s*x on the back seat of the Rover. " she said,

"Yuck! Get away from me!" I said, gagging.

"Oh shut up! I'll see when you will have s*x with ya mate." she said, punching me lightly on my shoulder.

"Yah yah we will see." I said, sighing.

I heard the engines of cars from a distance. I along with Skylar, was sitting on the ground in front of our house, talking about random things. The ground had big bushes that hides the person behind them. So we were completely hidden behind these bushes and decided to see what was happening. We could see what was happening on the other side, through the gapes between the leaves. I saw guards and fighters, I spotted Joseph among others, in wolf form surrounding the car. Like a shield. They bowed and ran away. Probably to change. Some guards which were already in their human form and were on high alert. As most important Alpha's came here to discuss matter. Benji, Dad, Lucas, Luca's dad and Skylar's dad was waiting for them on the porch. Skylar's dad was our previous third in command.

I heard the opening of four door's, but I was able to see two door's of the car. My eyes looking at the door of the back seat. I saw a black shoe touching the ground with grace, then his tattooed hand grabbing the door and at last, he was out of the car completely.

Like a model, getting out of his car.

He had dirty blonde hair. Wearing royal blue suit. Hair perfectly styled. Chiselled perfection. Tattoos beautifying his hands, fingers and the side of his neck. Buttoning first two buttons of his coat. His tattooed hand running in his hair, making them messy. Which suited him perfectly. The shirt fitted him perfectly, showing off his bulging muscles through the shirt. He really was a....

Greek God.

Angel.

Mouthwatering.

Eye candy.

Eyebreaking. Okay that got wrong. 

I cursed myself.

I looked at the other men who was talking with Benji and other two men. He had brown hair and was good looking as well but was nothing as compared to the first men. I looked at the model again. And sighed. As he could feel my eyes on him he looked towards us. I dropped to the ground with a small thud.

"Did he see us?" I whispered.

"No. He just glanced this way and looked away. He is talking to Benjamin and your dad and with other Alpha's. " Skylar whispered back, also laying on the ground.

"Who must he be?" I wondered loudly.

"An Alpha. Duh!" she said.

"No! Stupid. I meant which Alpha? I think he is Alpha Caleb. As others are Alpha Elijah, David and Mason. So Alpha Caleb is left. So he is Caleb." I said, looking over to them. They were walking inside the house. I saw Caleb glanced back again. Like searching for something. Looking disappointed he walked in.

We got up, dusted our clothes and got inside from the backside.

Later that day, I was reading a romantic novel, while Skylar was on her phone playing a game. When my mom mind linked me.

Leah come down for dinner with Skylar.

I frowned. I looked at the clock to see it was just 8.

But mom so early?

Yes. We are going to eat with Alpha's. As Alpha David requested.

Argh. Okay. Be there in a minute.

"C'mon we gotta go downstairs for dinner with the Alpha's. " I said, putting the novel on the side table.

"Why?" she pouted.

"Alpha David requested." I said rolling my eyes.

"That old man always has to eat dinner with us!" she said dramatically, raising her hands high in the air.

Alpha David was a very close friend of our dad's and he adored us. He used to come here with his children. Twins girls about our age and a boy one year younger than us. They were like lusty barbarians ready to pounce on us. He always gives bear hugs, which I call bone breaking hugs.

We both groaned and walked downstairs. I started to feel uneasy again. Feeling something is gonna happen. My hands started to sweat. A sweat drop run down my face. We could hear laughing, chattering, clinking of plates. Skylar walked in. I stopped and took a deep breath. My heart beat racing.

What the hell is happening with me?.

I questioned myself. I shoke my head and with a smile on my face, I walked in.

I saw mine, Lucas's, and Skylar's family along with Alphas sitting chattering.

"Oh Skylar! You have grown so much!" Alpha David said, making us look at him.

I could feel eyes on us.

"You too. Alpha David. You have grown old and bald." she mocked with a cat-like grin on her face.

I chuckled.

"Ah. Leah. You have grown into such a beautiful lady." he said. I walked toward him.

"Thank you. How have you been Alpha?" I said, smiling.

"Always the good girl. I am good." he said, patting my head. I scowled as he destroyed my hair style.

"Good girl?" Skylar whispered. I only winked at her mockingly. She rolled her eyes.

"This is Alpha Elijah." Benji said,

"Leah." Elijah said

"Alpha. And sorry to hear about the attack." I said,

He just nodded in answer. Lips pressed tightly.

"Hello Leah. Long time no see." Alpha Mason said, standing up, shaking hands with me.

"Hello Mason. Yes. Its been long. " I replied smiling.

Me and Mason were good friends, as he is about my age. His dad was a good friend of mine. So they visited a lot. His dad passed away two years back. He has been busy since than. Visited us after two years. He found his mate and have two kids.

"And this is Alpha Caleb." Benji said,

I looked towards him. He was the blonde model.

A paragon of virtue.

He stood up. His bright blue eyes piercing into my brown eyes. I got lost in the deep blue sea and his scent. He was much more handsome than I thought. I was unaware of the surrounding. I could only see blue water that was engulfing me into its depths.

"Mate." his deep throaty voice pulled me back to life. There was a small smile on his beautiful face.

                      Mate. My mate.
