HIS QUEEN

Chapter 3

The men continued to make their way towards their village as their footprints too started to make their mark right behind them. After a long journey, the men soon reached the village as all of them could clearly hear the entire village very briefly, even from the distance they were in. And they knew they were home. Mar and Jo weren't that tired what so ever because this is what they did all the time and traveling a long distance is not something that's hard for both of them. They had it in them and it's also because of the way Noah trains them that always comes to work all the time. But Neio, on the other hand, is a little different from them. He is yet to be a man and being the youngest is already harder for him. But he tries his best to do want he has too.

And carrying out all of the goods back to the village is not the easiest thing to do. It only took them a few minutes to finally reach the village and immediately their eyes landed on the main gate that was shut like it always was. They could also see the smoke coming from inside the village too.

They knew people would have already woken up and now are probably getting to their normal routine started, just like always.

Mar still very much had Gem in his arms and even though Jo did ask him if he wanted to relax for a while, Mar rejected the offer and just held onto Gem. He didn't want her to feel cold as his body temperature had already warmed her up and she might have already got used to it which was very good for her. Mar made sure to check on her every few minutes just to make sure she was not turning blue or darker anymore and also made sure she was breathing just fine. And the good news was her cheeks and her nose were slowly turning red and almost to her natural skin color. For which the men were very thankful.

All she had was a little bit of fever and that all she caught and it was because of the warm coat she was wearing. It was quite enough for her to keep warm and mostly not die. But what she was wearing looked very beautiful and very expensive. It's like something they saw when all of them lived in the kingdom. They were very familiar. Mar and Jo knew she was not just any girl after all and that she was someone of very importance. But what was someone of importance

doing in the middle of a forest ?. What would have made her come so far ?. There were so many questions.

"Finally home," Neio said as his body immediately relaxed at the moment they all reached the iron door withstood there proud and was still doing brilliant work in protecting the entire village. The iron gate is a marvel in itself. It stood well about 15 feet tall and was well built too. No one would ever dare to come in here or anywhere close to this village.

And even the borders were completely surrounded by a brick wall too, which stood tall and strong and kept the people protected and safe. Something the chief of the village made sure to make his main priority.

Wanting rest a little Jo immediately knocked on the iron gate alarming everyone on the other side and without wasting another minute the gate started to open up but really slow. As the gate was extremely large and very strong it almost takes about three strong built-up men to do the job and get the doors to open up. The loud noise of the gates open could really alarm the entire village and this village was a large one at that. This way everyone would know that people are coming in and are going out. This was one of the things that kept all of them in high alert, all the time.

The moment the gates completely open all three of them walked in immediately and the men who opened the gate walked up to greet the men and their eyes immediately land on the girl in Mars arms.This just makes them all very confused and also astonished right at that moment. This has never happened before. There has never been a strange soul that has ever entered through these gates, ever. And now to see a girl in one of their means' arms was all too much for all of them.

"Where is Noah ?." Mar asks one man and all that man could do was look at the girl. they couldn't blame them. He knew now everyone will have questions for them but that was not important right about now. And when the men did not answer Mar immediately started to lose it this time.

"Noah, where is he ?." He said bringing back the men back to reality.

"H..he he's with Nana. He won't be back for a while." He said coming back to reality and still not sure about what to make of all of this. And Mar without saying a word immediately walked past the man making his way towards the village and the men too start to follow the three of them. All of them walked towards the main part of the village just to see all the members of the village behaving just like they did usually. The women were taking care of the animals, some were making food, some cleaning the outside of their houses. And some children running around and chasing each other. And the men were in their shops working like they all did all the time and every single day.

The second everyone's eyes landed on the men everyone looked alarmed immediately with what they saw in front of them. This was not something they saw every day. People suddenly started to gather around them, murmuring things to each other. The small crowd immediately started to grow and grow in each step they took towards the main part of the village. People continued to increase by the second. But they all did keep their distance from the girl and from Mar too, as they all knew very well not to interfere in any of it. All of them did respect Mar but also they did fear him a lot too.

"Back off everyone, There is nothing to see here," Jo said to everyone so had already started to surround them and he knows this wouldn't end well if Mar got angry and even he wouldn't be able to do anything to help them.

"Move man." This time Neio started to take initiative and also started to move people away so that he could make space for all of them to walk and though they all wanted to know what was happening, the people started to move away from them. But their murmurs weren't going to quite down not even a little bit. Even though they felt them some space all of them started to follow right after the men. And within a few minutes, a few more people gathered around them as the word immediately started to spread about an unknown girl in the village. And the worst part was within sometime Nova would also get a hold of this information. But the fact that they have no idea what he might say or do did come in a few people's minds.

After covering a small distance Mar reached the village physician's house which was right in the middle of the village, at the exact center of the entire village. Which made it easy for everyone to have access if they really needed some help. And Antony was an amazing physician himself and also well respected. 

Without wasting another moment Mar carried her and walked towards his house and stood right in front of the door while Jo and Neio follow right behind him. Jo immediately knocks on the door as hard as possible as his fist colliding to the made an extremely loud noise which could terrify anyone inside.

"ANTHONY."  He screams his lungs out.

"ANTHONY OPEN THE DOOR." He said banging his fist at the door one more time. 

"We are going to be a lot of trouble if he doesn't open the door on time," Jo says under his breath while slowly moving his hair out of his face and pushing it back.

"Trouble is an understatement. We all should be glad Noah isn't here right now." Neio was the one to make this comment this time. 

"It's only you who will get in trouble for all this Neio. Noah is my best friend  and I will be of the hoke like always." Jo said smirking at the poor man as he had already started to sweat for what's to come. And Jo seeing what he had done he slowly pats him on his back. Right about now Mar had already started to lose his patience.

"ANTHONY OPEN THE DOOR RIGHT NOW."  He said this time as he couldn't take all of this anymore. Mar, on the other hand, was very much concerned for the girl who almost died right in front of him and he wanted to do anything in his power to help her live and get better soon. And his thunderous voice literally sends shivers almost scaring everyone present around him and even Neio and Jo too.

Immediately the doors open up revealing the built man with dark hair and eyes on the other side of the door. His eyes within second landed on the girl in Mars arms. A small frown was plastered on his face as he just stood there looking confusion at both Jo and Neio. When he didn't get anything from them he didn't even know how to react but any of it. One thing he knew was that this girl was not a member of the village but someone else, someone from the outside. 

"Who is it, love." A more feminine sound surrounds them this and from behind him, his wife started to make her way towards the door. And when she reached the door a loud gasp left her mouth letting go of the clothes she was holding in her hands. She just stood there shocked at the scene right in front of her eyes.

Mar without saying a word simply just walked inside and immediately walks past the physicians' wife letting her stay there in shock. Anthony immediately turns around to look at her almost bringing her back to reality.

"Tell Koral to bring in all of my things and also some warm water." 

He said to his wife but apparently, she wasn't listening to any of it and her eyes were just the room Mar took the girl were all the patients are taken. 

"Nara, honey."He said one more to get her attention and slowly stroke her cheeks with his fingers making her look at him. She looks right at her husband this time and slowly starts to nod her head. letting him know she understood what he said to her. And without wasting a second she immediately runs out to the back to call the help. While all of this happened Jo and Neio stood right outside the door as none of them wanted to crowd out the entire house. And also they wanted to be here if Nova would suddenly decide to show up out of nowhere. 

"Do you think she is going to be okay ?."

"She is going to be just fine buddy," Jo said as he slowly tapped Neio's shoulder for comfort. And the fact that Neio stayed so calm with this entire situation and on how it all played out right in front of him has him really surprised. He completely stayed calm through all of that and it did bring a lot of respect for him. Suddenly the noise behind them started to grow louder and louder.

Jo immediately turned around to look at the crowd that had already started to create. And he had already had enough of all of this now.

"People this is enough. Everyone get back to your works, there is nothing to see here." He said walking down the stairs towards the people immediately pushing the crowd away from the house and from the guest inside of it. Even though everyone wanted to know more and more they all knew all of them had to leave before any of them gets in trouble. Or worst, if Noah gets here they all knew things would go downhill from there immediately. Still murmuring they all scattered away, some back to work and some back home.

Obviously soon the word was going to spread about a girl in the village and a girl from the outside and immediately everyone would start to know about this, making a few scared and paranoid. But the deed is done and now nothing can be done about this. Just like everyone here Neio and Jo too had a lot of questions too but unlike others, they had the patience to wait for the girl to wake up so that she could talk and explain everything by herself.   

The moment everyone left and went back to their normal routine Jo and Neio both looked at each other one more time and walked back towards the house slowly setting down on one of the steps of the house. Resting their legs for some time.

"I want to sleep."

"Not yet buddy, not yet. there is going to be a big scene today."

"We are all dead aren't we ?."

"Except for Mar, yes. We both die today."

The words that came out of Jo's mouth immediately crushed Neio's soul as swiftly as possible almost making him regret his decision, as he slowly bends his head down with his eyes completely closed and he slowly brushes his hair as his body turns numb with the passing second. And Jo on the other hand. He turns to see Neio panic at his statement and a small c***k of small immerged on his lips. While he found this entire scene extremely hilarious. Seeing his panic did make him feel like all of this was very funny and was trying his best to not end up laughing at this poor boy.

"God help us all."

"All good now ?."

"Yes, let her rest for a while now. The more she rests the fastest she gets better."

"What happens when she wakes up ?."

"We face that later Nara, right now I just have to make sure her fever leaves."

Anthony said to his wife as he slowly places the wet towel on Gems warm forehead and the moment the water touched her skin it would immediately turn warm and Anthony on the other hands really did try his best to save her life. It's not like the fever was going down or anything anytime soon, but it was not increasing either. Her body is relaxing and recovering well and it did impress him a little. For a person who should been dead long back, she had come a long way.

They all did have concern for the girl and they weren't going to lie about it. Even though they all were very scared of the possible future but they knew they couldn't do much about it now. What's done is done.

"I will be right back." Nara said as she slowly got off of her chair, which was placed right next to the bed. 

"Where are going ?." He asked looking at her concerned.

"Outside, I will be right back." She answered back to him. He slowly nodded his head and without wasting another second she immediately walked out of the room, because she was feeling very uneasy in that room. This was the very first time ever that she walked right out and all of this was way too much for her to take in all of a sudden. It's like her mind immediately shut down for a while and now she cannot think properly. She walked out of the house to see the boys were still here right outside the house. All of them were having a very intense conversation. even their body language was different too. She already knew what they were talking about.

Nara slowly makes her way towards them, still looking at the men ahead of her. The moment the men saw her they immediately stopped what they were talking about and backed away from each other. 

"Is she alright ?." Mar asked Nara walking a little bit closer towards her as his face still held a small expression of concern for the girl.

"She is better now. Anthony is still with her."

"So she isn't going to die ?."

"No, she just need to rest for a while. She will be perfectly fine after that."

"How long will it take for her to wake up." Jo was the one to ask her this time.

"It will take a while........W......What happens after that ?." 

"Don't worry. I will handle Noah." Mar said to  her after seeing how all this is truly effecting her. Neio and Jo to nodded their heads, feeling good about the fact that they didn't have to talk to Noah.

"JONNAH." Jo screams out loud out of nowhere and this immediately catches everyones attention. This name alerted everyone.

"Jonnah. how could we forget him ?."  He continued on and everyone just stood there thinking why non of them have actually thought about this. And Jonnah was not just someone in this village. He was like a father to Nova and always has been that to him. He had all the love and respect from both Noah and the entire village. 

Before anyone could say anything Neoi made a run for it. He just rushed out without even looking back and ran towards the direction where he knew he would find the old man.

"I will go get him......" He screams on running as fast as he can. 

"I really hope of this works out." Nara said as her hands starts to fiddle with her dress. "Me too." Jo too attached himself in this conversation again. 

"I have never paniced so much in my entire life." she said looking every where else but at the guys. She could feel her heart racing uncontrolably. 

"I will go check on her." Nara said looking at the boys this time and both of them looked really worried just like her. They just nodded their hands saying "okay".

It has been half an hour now and still there is nothing new that has happened around them. Things are pretty much same and this was all really frustrating to all of them. Everyone knew that Noah hasn't received any information yet or else he would have been here with in no time and that would be another scene to go through. 

And Gem on the other hand was still fast asleep. Anthony knew that she would be walking up anytime now. And she was most definately going to feel better ones she wakes up. And he also made sure to check on her every few minutes, just to make sure she was fine and breathing well. Although his wife was too scared and absolutely terrified to be involved in any of this and he too was very much okay with her decision. He has never seen her this paranoid and this wasn't okay with him either. 

The men where still outside watching out for any kind of surprises and they where hoping they didn't get one. Noah hasn't returned yet either and that means he hasn't yet got the new about the girl or any of this situation. Which was for the best for now. And just like there were doing before, they just wait and see what happens next. And also Neio hasn't returned with Jonnah either and this only frustrated them more. 

"Where are these people ?." Jo asks has he immediately starts to get off of the step and start to pase around the garden which was right front of the house. 

"They will be here...."  Mar tries to respond to Jo's question but before her could even continue Jo interrupted him.

"When will they be here ?, when everything is done ?. I have never been this uneasy in my entire life." Jo said still walking around, screaming literally as his hands move around in all directions. This immediately alarmed Mar.

"Jo calm down." He said getting up and walking towards him. "You need to calm down. Everything is going to be okay. We both can take care of this situation you know it."

"What have we done?." He said looking at Mar as he made the statement and all Mar could do was just look at him and that's all.  

"Whose plan was it ?." He asked backing away from Mar almost surprising him. 

"Whose plan was it to bring that girl here ?."

"Jo."

"WHOSE." He screams at him this time which made the people inside the house just rush out immediately,as they were all too alarmed by the sounds from outside.

"STOP IT JO. STOP BEHAVING LIKE THIS." Mar said it out of frustration and also makes an attempt to go closer towards him. But Jo suddenly backs away from him like he was some kind of a plague and this almost made Mar feel bad. They were brothers and this did effect him more than he though he would.

"We didn't think this trough. Noah would loss all the trust he had in us." Jo said as he was completely losing it right in front of everyone.

"Is everything fine here ?." Asked Anthony as he just stood there looking at both of them as they fight with each other and this is something they haven't seen ever. And truth be told this encounter did surprise them all.

"Nothing is fine anymore." Jo said looking at the doctor and then back at Mar slowly backing away from him and walking away from both of them. All of them look right at him as he walks away from there as fast as he really could. There was a sense of silence in there and no one spoke a single word after that. Not a single soul did.

Inside the house and in the room there was something else going on entirely. Something no one had an clue about. Inside the room as the the golden light of the sun was surrounding the entire room. and the warmth also was very very comforting to Gem. She slowly moves in her bed. Her legs her hands make slight movements too. After sleeping a very long long time her eyes start to flutter open slowly, very slowly. She put in all her efforts to open her eyes. She tried and tried untill tehy open. Her body was too tired of resting and getting up was all hlshe could really think about now. Giving it all one kore time Gem slowly opens up both her eyes and right at that point her eyes start to immediately water. Everything was very much a blur to her at this point. She tries to move her hands and they did move like they normally did but she did feel the pain in her bones. She felt weird in her skin as she tried to move them close towards her eyes. It did look like a little effort was needed though.  

She slowly reaches her eyes and rubs off the tears running down her face. Her face, hands and even her legs were quite numb and felt uneasy. Like blood was slowly rushing in. This time Gem opens up her eyes completely wide open and the very first thing she notices is the color of the rooms slowly turning yellow and orange. She wasn't sure if this was all in her head or real. Use didn't know if her mind was playing with her or if she was really dead.

Her eyes slowly train the entire room and immediately her heart beat just starts to freakishly increase in a rapid speed as she continues to look around this foreign looking room. this did not sit well with her at all. All of a sudden Gem get up and sits down on the bed slowly backing away from everything. Even though her body hurt more than she can imagine and her bones too hurt because of the sudden movements done by her. But what could she do. She didn't know where she was or what she was doing her or even how she got to this place and this truly terrified her more than ever. Her heart beat was still very much increasing and increasing by the second, making her truly lose her mind. Fear had completely consumed her in every way possible and only one thing was stuck in her mind and it was to get out of this place. 

And right outside Gem was very much able listen to the argument going on and the loud noises did terrify her even more making her shake in ultimate fear of who was out there and what they could do to her.

"Where is he going?." Anthony as Mar as he walks down the stairs towards him still looking at the direction he went.

"He just needs to calm down for a bit."

He said rubbing his face with both his hands and simply started to look up at the sky, still thinking about what just happen. 

"What did you both fight about ?."

 Nara asked as she too stepped in closer to both of them. Mar looked at her feeling uneasy immediately. His hands started to become sweaty and both Anthony and Nara could see how different Mar was acting and it was something they haven't seen before.

"It was about the girl." Mar said looking at both of them and immediately looking some where else. He started to feel more uneasy and was hoping some one would change the topic and maybe talk about something else. 

"What about her ?." She continued to ask and Mar knew he wouldn't be able to handle any of this. But right then immediately Anthony understood why he was acting like this and the realization of the situation brought in sympathy for him. As Anthony already knew Mar really well. 

"He was mad about bringing her hear ?." Anthony asked him and he simply just nodded his head answering his question. 

"But why ?. He too agreed to bring her here right?. So why is he angry now?." Nara jumped in again in this conversation. Her facial expression showed confusion as she had no idea what was happening between these boys.

Inside the room Gem is still on the bed. She was too scared to get off of the bed and move because she didn't know where she really was and has absolutely no idea what she is suppose to do at this point. And she didn't know how to survive outside because of the fact that she hasn't left the castle her whole life. Scared she was still shaking like a leaf and her breathe too was very uneven. Her stomach too had a very uneasy feel and all of this really overwhelmed Gem in every possible way. 

Suddenly she hears some one walk towards the door and she immediately start to freak out and with in a second someone opens up the door and immediately walks in. Gems heart beat just stops for a split second and the moment. Koral the physicians help walked into the room. Neither did she know who was in this room and all she knew was there was a new girl who was found in the middle of nowhere and that is all. the moment Koral walks into the room she notices the girl was wide awake and her heart too immediately stopped beating the minute she sets her eyes on the girl sitting on the bed looking scared like she has seen a ghost.   

Both the girl were absolutely scared and very much terrified. Gem was scared because she doesn't recognize this place or the girl and has no idea how she even got here. And Koral was scared because she knew who this girl was and what she was really capable of. She immediately drops the glass on the floor as she just stood there scared for her life. Gem did notice this and she felt a deep guilt built up inside of her. She knew this girl knew who she was and this terrified her more. She wanted to get out of  here.

"I am going to go after him ." Mar said and immediately started to make his way to find Jo and talk to him and this suddenly alerted Nara.

"What about her ?." She asked him feel not very confident about him leave them here alone with her. But her question confused him. "What about the girl ?."

"What if she wakes up ?." She said looking at both of them. Anthony immediately steps in and talks on Mars behalf.

"Then we take care of her Nara." He said looking directly at her telling her it's not a big of an issue.

"I will leave now." Mar said and right then and there left to go find Jo because he knew he had to talk to him and calm him down. And this was something that just he and Noah could do and he was not going to leave his brother alone. Not now and not ever.

And inside thing were still very much tensed and the girls still terrified as hell. With out saying a word Koral immediately rushed out of the room and ran out the door. She wasn't sure how she had the power to move her body or even her legs. The moment she reach the door Koral ran for it and sprinted out the door and the sound of her foot steps caught the attention of both Nara and Anthony and still running she doesn't notice she is already out the door. Koral immediately collides with Anthony and when her body makes contact with his, a loud scream aruptes from within her almost scaring Nara who was already fearing for her life this whole time.

"What happened ?." He asked as he held onto her shoulders to keep her steady but her body was literally shaking and her voice was shaky too, just like her. All she did was look at the house and nowhere else. Anthony pulled her closer towards him making her look directly at him.

"What happened Koral ?." He asked her one more time expecting an answer from her this time.

"What happened Koral ?." He asked her one more time expecting an answer from her this time. She looked right at him and then at the house again and pointed towards the house with her finger still shaking. She tried to gather her words together.

"Prin....cess." She said and that word immediately made a chill run down their spines as they too look towards the house. Fearing for their life as they know now that this was not just some girl they saved but she is the reason for all of their demise. And they just realized they all just save a monster. A monster that ruined their life.
