Take My Love Away ( Michael Minelli )

803 Words
Luna Leah's POV I gaze at the girl with pained eyes, seeing her as an angel sent to help me. With all her might, she lifts my bloody werewolf body onto her coat, promising to keep me and the baby safe. But she seems confused about how she can save me. She opens her old, worn-out suitcase and pulls out a box of her doctor's equipment. My senses tell me she is a doctor, but not a veterinarian. I need to transform back into my human form as soon as possible. I can't let her treat me while my wolf side is visible. The dark magic spell from the witch and the battle with our enemy have injured me, preventing the transformation. I squeeze my eyes shut, trying to shift back to my human form. But the transformation doesn't occur. The pain intensifies, and Mia, my wolf inside speaks to me "Leah... I will go now. I can't bear it anymore. Take care of yourself." And then the sound fades, leaving me suddenly feeling cold and naked. "What the f**k?!" The girl screams loudly as she turns around and sees me as a pregnant, naked woman in front of her. "Who are you? Where did the wolf go? Where did you come from? Why are you naked? Am I dreaming? Why did the wounded wolf disappear? Am I hallucinating?" she bombards me with questions, clearly confused. “ I'm that werewolf. My name is Luna Leah " I say weakly. "Please, you have to help me. I can't bear this pain any longer," I plead, my voice barely above a whisper. The young doctor looks at me, her eyes filled with concern and uncertainty. She knows the risks, the challenges we face here in the middle of the forest without proper equipment. "How far along are you?" the girl asks, her voice shaking with fear. I can sense her fear, but she's trying to bury it as she witnesses my pain. "Seven months," I answer with a low voice. "For a wolf or a human?" she asks. "Human... wolves only stay pregnant for 75 days," I reply slowly. "What can I do to help you? I can't perform surgery here, and if I don't treat you soon, you'll lose too much blood, risking your life and your baby's," the young doctor says, sounding uncertain. "You don't understand. There's no time. If you leave, both my baby and I will die. You're my only chance," I implore, tears streaming down my face. She hesitates. . After a moment, determination shines through her uncertainty. "Okay, I'll do it. But we need to find a clean surface and something to sterilize the knife and your wound," she says, her voice filled with a mix of fear and determination. With her help, I manage to sit up, leaning against a nearby tree. The pain is excruciating, but I push through, knowing that time is running out. The young doctor rummages through her bag, finding a bottle of makeup remover. "This is all I have to sterilize the knife," she says, pouring the liquid onto the blade. I brace myself as she makes the incision on my abdomen, the pain intensifying with each passing moment. I bite down on my lip, trying to stifle the cries of agony that threaten to escape. The young doctor works quickly, her hands moving with practiced ease. "Don't worry, Leah. We're almost there," she reassures me, her voice calm despite the intensity of the situation. Finally, I feel a burst of pressure, and the cry of a newborn fills the air. My baby is here, alive and breathing. The young doctor cuts the umbilical cord and hands him to me, tears welling up in my eyes as I look at his tiny face. "He's perfect," I whisper, my voice filled with love and awe. But the young doctor's expression turns serious as she observes my condition. "We need to get you to a hospital. You've lost a lot of blood," she urges urgently. I shake my head weakly, knowing that going to the hospital is not an option. "I can't go to the hospital. It's too dangerous. But you can help me. Take my baby to his father, the alpha of the Blue Sapphire Pack. Give him this necklace," I say, removing the necklace from around my neck and placing it in her hand."He will know that you met me and saved his child. Promise me you'll do this," I plead, my voice filled with urgency. As darkness starts to envelop me, I feel a strange sensation washing over my body. My bones shift, my muscles contract, and my skin tingles as I transform back into my werewolf form. And then, everything fades into blackness, leaving me alone in the quiet emptiness. .
