When I woke up I was in a bedroom it seems, the room lacked any doors and windows. A small desk sat in a corner, with some paper and writing supplies, a toilet in another corner next to the sink made the room feel like a comfortable prison cell.
I moved slightly, testing the bed beneath me, which was surprisingly soft. I sighed and stood, stretching my sore muscles, I seen a table in another corner of the room with some food and a note.
I walked over cautiously taking the note. Reading it, the note said 'dear human, if your reading this then you survived! Congratulations. Eat up and get your strength up, training starts the day after you wake up.'
I couldn't help but smile. I didn't even have to ask for training, this i***t was willingly giving me the abtilties and training I needed to kill him! I sat down and quickly ate the sandwich and water Set out for me.
I'd need the strength. As soon as I was finished with the meal I stood, glancing around the room again. I didn't feel different.
I took a deep breath and tried to focus, I stared at the other side of the room, my hands fists at my sides. Taking a deep breath I focused my energy. I needed to be able to telaport. It was classic and well known ability among the invaders. I'd need to be strong, powerful, able to defend myself, to defend all of humanity.
I felt the air around me move, and my guts twist, a dizzy and horrible feeling as I felt myself land on the ground somewhere else. Then my eyes focused, they widened in horror, and I quickly gripped the ground, trembling. s**t!
I wasn't on the other side of the room, I was in another city... No. Another country, glancing around, trembling as I stayed on the ground at the top of the massive skyscraper I found myself on top of. Wind blowing quickly, I shook in fear. Heights. Everyone had a fear, that was mine. I tried so hard to hide my fear at all times.
This... This was unhideable. I tremble, tears streaming down my face. Suddenly I felt strong arms gripped grab me and in a snap I was back in the room I'd woken up in not long ago.
As I looked up, still shaking slightly, I seen Kio standing above me and he chuckled. "I knew you'd attempt that, so I placed a tracking device in your arm when you got here." I glanced at my arm and noticed a small red glowing light. How the hell didn't I notice that sooner?!
Kio smirked. "So, were you just testing your abilities and went too far, or did you mean to go all the way to Japan?"
I looked at the ground embarrassed by my mistake. I should've been better! Failing like that. It was unacceptable! Not to mention I knew now he had a tracking chip in me. I was trapped until I killed him. "It was an accident."
I mumbled under my breath. Kio chuckled. "Well since your so willing to train, I guess we can start now." He grabbed my arm, and with zero warning teleported us both to a new room.
I held my mouth to hold it in, but ended up throwing up, Kio laughed. "I'm surprised that didn't happen sooner. Being new to teleportation most have the limit of one telaportation before that happens for several weeks. You really are impressive feya."
"Faya." I corrected again, glaring at him. He didn't seem to hear me. "This is the training room. You'll spend a minimum of two hours here everyday until you get your abilities under control."
As I looked around the massive room, filled with training equipment, some simaler things I've seen like treadmills and weights, others were devices and machines I've never seen before.
I took a deep breath standing straight and wiping the extra throw up from my mouth. My hands fists at my side, my heart strong, head tight. I would train. I'd be strong enough. I'd save humanity. Even if it cost me my life, my humanity. My everything.
