Chapter Four

"WHAT?! No! No way!" I shook my head, holding up a hand. Kio had just told me HOW they transferred abilities to others. "It will only hurt a moment, besides-"

I inturupted him. "No! What kind of vampires s**t is that? I'm not letting you bite my neck! What then?? You suck my blood??!" Kio sighed, running a hand through his mess of hair.

"It's the easiest and quickest way to get our DNA in yours. Any other method and you'd die before your cells could recover. "

I sighed. Sitting on the couch I wanted to save humanity but if this is what I had to do... "There's really no other way?" Kio nodded.

"If you want any chance if surviving it then yes." I sighed. "I already regret this" I mumble, pulling my hair to one side, baring my neck to him.

Kio smiked sitting next to me. "Good choice feya." I rolled my eyes. "Faya." I correct. "Mhm, whatever" he said, leaning closer I flinched feeling his teeth sink into my neck.

Painful was an understatement, I bit my tongue, refusing to scream, my eyes pricked with tears but I held them back, my body felt on fire, it felt as if someone set a flame in my veins and it spread.

After a few seconds, he pulled back, and I grapsed the couch beanethe me, the world spun, I felt dizzy, sick, and in a horrible amount of pain. Don't pass out, don't pass out! I screamed in my mind.

As everything began to go dark, I felt Kio pick me up, the movement startling my already half unconscious mind. As I tried to move out of his grip, all my will, all my thoughts, drained away until I was nothing but an unconscious figure. A weak, pathetic human in the hands of someone who could kill me with such ease, yet... For some odd reason. Decided not to.
