The invaders abilities were truly impressive, that had typical abilities you'd expect from people like them, telaportation, super strength and speed. Your rather typical abilities you'd hear in superhero movies and s**t.
That wasn't all though, they were much stronger then a few mediocre powers. They could control things, not just someone's mind. Anything you can think of, they could have under their control. A person's mind or body, objects, the very cells and organs inside a person, but that wasn't their limit.
They could control black holes, air, fire, wind, water. They were truly god like. Atoms, anything and everything was putty in their hands. It's why only one of their own could deafete them, of course they had a weakness. Everyone did, the only problem? Not even most of their own kind knew what that weakness was.
I had to become strong, as strong as Kio, gain his trust. If I could become one of kios top five, then I'd have access to that information, and could defeat him, and everyone else.
Kio, leader of the invaders, had five people who stood at his sides, the only five of his kind who knew their kinds weakness. They were the ones he trusted most, and the strongest other then him. He and only him was stronger then them.
That's why... Even now, I could never give up. No matter how much it hurt, or how much I wanted to quit. I'd spent three hours now training in the room he'd brought me to.
He watched silently I'm a corner, as I stumbled, punching, lifting, teleporting. Doing all I could, my body passed its limits about two hours ago, but I wouldn't stop, not until I was strong enough to save humanity.
With my hand in a fist, I went to punch the black punching back which hung in front of me for the thousandth time, when I felt him grip my fist, stopping my punch mid air. "That's enough. It's time for supper." I glanced up at him with a glare. "I'm not done."
I spoke plainly, trying to pull my fist from his grip, but he held onto it tightly. "Your persistent, but strength is pointless if your too weak to use it. Know your limits." He spoke sternly, his voice reminded me alot of one of those mentors in movies teaching someone to fight.
I sighed, pulling my hand away, and glancing away from him. My hands fists at my side. I wasn't strong enough yet, and I hated to admit it, but he was right. If I got myself killed the first day, this all would've been for nothing.
"Fine. Let's eat." He nodded, and grabbed my arm, without warning, I felt my guts stir, and in a flash, we were in a dining room. The room was massive, filled to the brim with invaders, all sitting at a table eating.
I stumbled slightly, but maneged to stay standing, my hands still fists at my side as he led me to a table.
As I sat down, I put some food on the plate in front of me, eating silently, one fist still at my side, my senses on high alert in case someone attacked me.
I couldn't let my gaurd down, not even for a moment, I had to be ready for anything. When Kio leaned closer and whispered in my ear. "calm down, no one's going to attack you." I looked over at him surprised and he nodded towards my fist.
I kept my hand in a fist though, I couldn't trust him or anyone here for that matter. Kio shrugged and went back to speaking to the person beside him.
This was enemy territory for me, I couldn't let me gaurd down, because if I did, if I ended up dead. Who would save humanity?
