Chapter Three

My eyes widened as I quickly looked away from the muscular shirtless man. "What- who are you. What do you want from me? Also... Why are you half n***d?!" The man walked closer, to which I quickly stepped back. The man rolled his eyes, but stopped walking towards me. "I wasn't expecting guests, a gaurd of mine brought you here unconscious, told me you helped dozens of people escape our chains, and left." I sighed. So I guessed even their army had flaws. "So your the leader, I take it?" The man smirked. "Kio parr. I should kill you for rebelling..." I quickly put my hands up, balled into fists in a fighting stance, Kio chuckled. "No need for that. Your rather strong, for a human teenager, that is." I looked at him confused. "Then what is it you want from me?" Kio walked closer, and again I stepped back, but he kept walking towards me this time, until my back was to a wall, and he was inches from me. "I want you to join us." My eyes widened in shock. "Join you?! You've killed billions of humans! Inslaved us! Why would I-" he put his hand over my mouth, leaning closer. "Humans are weak. We needed a new planet because our population has expanded too quickly. We chose this one since humans are already destroying it. It was either, most humans died, some live, we set base here and save this pathetic place. Or you all destroy it in another two decades." My eyes narrowed and I glared at him. "So what?! It's our planet to destroy!" He rolled his eyes. "Humans can be so...." I pushed him off me. "I don't care about your opinion! I'm not joining you. Besides, you said yourself humans are weak! How could I POSSIBLY be helpful to you?!" Kio chuckled, leaning back. "Simple, we've been running a little... Experiment, testing how different beings react to our abtilties. We have the ability to transfer our abtilties to others, our strengths, our... Life span. It's all much greater then humans. Some creatures die from it, others are even stronger then us. We've discovered however, humans are odd. Instead of all of you having the same reaction the reaction changes depending on the human. Let me inject my abilities into you, if you survive, you'll be a great addition." I scoffed. "and if I die? Then what?" He rolled his eyes. "You'll die if you refuse. So what's the difference?" I crossed my arms. I couldn't betray people, but I wondered. If they were right, If some really did become even stronger then them, if I had their abilities, I might have a chance at killing Kio, and if Kio died. The rest would stand no chance. I'd have to hide my intentions, if I survived, I'd have him train me. Pretend to be on their side, and when he least expected it. I'd kill him, and save humanity. "Your right. I'll do it. How do you give me the abtilties?"
