Valerie’s POV
“Darling!” A woman dressed as a queen walked into my room and I wondered if this was her house, but then I remembered that Dr. Felix said it was Aries’ house. I was still pondering where she fit in when she leaned over to kiss each of my cheeks.
“Uhm, hi.” Her perfume was so strong that it burned my eyes.
“Oh, darling, there is no need to cry.” She wiped my cheek as if wiping away a tear, and I fought the urge to slap away her hand. “I’m here now, it’s understandable that I am the only one you remember. You are like my own daughter. We were so worried about you! How are you feeling?” She sat down on the chair next to the bed, and I was a bit confused.
