Chapter Thirty-Four

500 Words
Liam was rather shocked than angry, he didn't believe what he heard. "What did you say?" Victoria sat up, "I said you're a bloody coward." Liam chuckled softly, he faced her with his hands folded. "And why would you say that?" "Because the reason you have been at war with Jamey is because of me. And none of you cowards has had the balls to tell me how either of you feel about me." Liam was taken aback, he pinched his nose. "He told you." "He didn't have to, i figured it out." Victoria stood up and walked towards him. "And i can't be wrong. Jamey just suddenly had the urge to kiss me? And you, saying i was yours and warning him to stay away from me." she scoffed. "There's more to that." They were both silent for a minute, victoria went into the bathroom, while liam sat on the bed. He decided to let her know how he felt since the cat had been unintentionally let loose. Victoria came back into the room and went to her closet; "I noticed i couldn't resist you since elementary school. It wasn't just about the friendship for me, it was way more. I was the reason my friends and family tagged us 'sweet couple' till date. I had always said i was going to marry you when we grew up....." Liam paused, he stood up and slowly walked to victoria, who still had her back to him. He continued, "Everyday that passed since then made me realize that until my dying day, it's forever going to be you tori." "Did you ever think that things would turned out differently if you had just told me sooner." Victoria said, she wasn't asking a question but saying what she had thought for years. But liam answered, "No, i didn't. And it killed everyday since you left, because i never got a chance to find out." Victoria sighed, "Right." "But i'll totally understand if you do not feel the same way, or if you have feelings for.....someone else." Victoria turned around sharply, "What nonsense are you saying? Are you trying to push me away after you just told me you love me?" she raised her voice. "Liam smiled, "Hmm, i didn't actually say I love you." "Really, fine. I hate you so get out of my room." She said and walked towards the door to open it. Liam smiled as he slowly walked to her, he gently closed the door, trapping her to it. "You don't really mean that, do you?" he got closer to her, so close that all she could smell when she inhaled was him. "I do." she answered in a half whisper. "Are you sure? The last time you said that, i ended up in the hospital, remember?" Victoria looked up at him, he saw that guilt in her eyes again, then he kissed her. He needed to kiss those guilt away, he needed to feel her love for him.
