Chapter Thirty-One

500 Words
The past weeks was awesome for both liam and victoria, despite being busy with their businesses, they tried to spend more time together. The month of december had arrived, the streets of solvang were already decorated with christmas lights. Friends and family members came visiting from all over the country to their hometown. There were events, games and more, which has been the tradition of the small town. Victoria met her friend, leah at the school stadium to watch the annual football game; "Hey beautiful." A male voice spoke behind her, victoria turned around. He was a very handsome man, chubby cheek, cute lips with hazel eyes. "Jamey? Oh my God! Jamey!" Victoria exclaimed and hopped on him. The man carried her up; "Little Tori! God you've turned into a full grown woman." the man said as he put her down. "Come on Jamey, I wasn't gonna be your little tori forever." Victoria replied excitedly with her hands around his neck and his still on her waist. Jamey looked at her with so much admiration, this was the scene liam saw when he approached them. He didn't look so happy about it, because this was one of victoria's love interest from years back. "James Torres, what a surprise to see you home this year." Liam said, his hands in his pocket. Victoria hands dropped immediately, but Jamey didn't let go off her. Jamey and Liam had always had it for each other but she never understood why, all she knew was, wherever she spent time with either of them, they end up hating themselves even more. "Liam Hilton, i see you're still in this town." "Home is where i love to be, unlike the over privileged kids who knows nothing about community services." liam retorted "Gentlemen, can we sit quietly and watch the game? It's about to start." Leah said "You can continue the duel later." Xander grinned. Victoria smiled at her friend and her new found lover who happened to be solvang most handsome eligible bachelor and playboy. She never thought xander would commit, let alone with a mother of two. But the boys loved him, he was good with them and with their mother as well. Liam was yet to tell victoria how he felt and now a new threat had arrived, fate got rid of her ex boyfriend, but it looks like he has to get rid of this threat. James Torres was married of course and even has a kid, but it was no news to anyone in town that he had lost his wife to a terminal illness two years ago. "So what brings you home this time? I mean, it's been a long while you visited." Liam asked James smirked, "Why does it bother you? Besides, it's christmas." "You've never celebrated christmas in solvang." "Because my wife hated flying." James responded sharply, everyone looked at liam. He knew he had pushed the young man way too much, so he kept quiet throughout the game.
