It was time for leah's birthday party, everyone was present including carla who was in a wheelchair, then few of their ex college friends. Liam and Victoria were yet to arrive, but when they eventually did, all heads turned to look. They were both looking elegant and obviously, glowing; "This could only mean one thing." leah said "Liam had finally confessed his feelings to victoria." Xander added Leah chuckled, "They both did." "Happy birthday dearest friend." Victoria said and hugged leah, "You look pregnant." she whispered "I am pregnant, but say nothing." leah whispered back. "Hey liam." leah released her friend and hugged liam. "Happy birthday leah." liam said and handed her a gift bag. "Thank you." Victoria saw james but she ignored him the whole night, but she couldn't ignore carla no matter how hard she tried. She walked to her and said; "Hey carla." "Hey." "How are you doing?" Carla released a sighed, "You don't have to be nice, you can spit out the venom now." Victoria smiled, "I don't intend to do such. Believe it or not, I'm genuinely worried about you." "Why?" "Because i know what it feels like, loving someone for years without getting any love in return." Victoria went ahead to sit in front of her. "I'm sorry vicki, i can call you that right?" "Of course, it's fine." they smiled at each other. "I can see you both are a couple now." carla said Victoria gasped, "How did you know?" "With that entrance and the blushing smile on your faces, trust me, everyone here knows." carla winked, victoria's cheek turned red. "You're blushing again." carla laughed softly. "Carla." "I wish you both good luck." "Thank you." "I do too." A voice interrupted their little chitchat, it was james. Victoria turned away and sip the wine she was having. "Victoria, please we need to talk." "O-kay, that's my cue to leave." carla said and was about to wheel herself away. "No, stay right here, we'll leave." Victoria said, she turned to james; "Come with me." They both walked out to the lawn in front of the house; "I'm listening." Victoria said "Little tori, I...." "Please don't call me that anymore. Vicki is fine." James chuckled, "I know you're upset and i understand. I acted foolishly, i should have told you about my feelings a long time." "Yeah, you should have." "I'm sorry vicki. And i wish you good luck with liam, he's a good man and will take care of you." Victoria sighed, then smiled. "Thank you Jamey, i hope you find someone soon." "Thank you, my little to... vicki." he said and they both laughed. They began to discuss about something else when liam called; "Tori, we're about to sing the birthday song." "Okay." James and Victoria both walked in and they sang and wished leah a happy birthday. Finally, the evening came to an end and everyone left, leaving the two couples in the house.
