The Werewolf Mafia Queens Daughter

Chapter 11 scared

Anna’s P.O.V 

  I woke up in a cold sweat and still had all the questions running through my head. I jumped out of bed and ran to the window, opening it wide open and jumping out. I shifted midair and landed on my paws, then took off running into the woods. I felt like I was running for my life all over again, like I was still living that nightmare.

  Cheyenne’s P.O.V

  I felt how scared Anna was, it woke me up and then I heard her bedroom window open and knew that she had left. I jumped out of bed, went to the window and opened it up, jumping out and shifting midair to try and catch her.  

  “Mercury, somethings wrong with Anna. I’m going to get her, meet us downstairs.” I said, mind-linking him.

  “What's wrong? What do you mean you're going to get her? Where is she? What's going on?” Mercury asked, bombarding me with questions through the mind-link and I could tell that he was worried.

  “I don't know what's wrong, I just know that something has scared our daughter so much that she jumped out of the window and ran into the woods in her wolf form. Now meet us downstairs and I will bring her back.” I replied and quickly ended the link so that I could concentrate. 

  “Anna, stop. You can't be out in the woods like this.” I said, mind-linking her and felt her scent get stronger the closer I got to her. She had thankfully stopped and when I got closer to her I saw her shift back and grab a long t-shirt from one of the trees. I stood about ten foot away from her and quickly shifted back into my human form, grabbing a shirt and putting it on. I walked over to Anna and she fell to the ground, crying her eyes out and pulling her knees into her chest. She looked so sad and scared, but I had no idea why. I sat down next to her and pulled her into my arms, hugging her and stroking her hair as I tried to calm her down. After a few minutes I got up to my feet and picked Anna up, carrying her back through the woods and to the pack house. When the pack house came into view I saw that Mercury was standing outside, looking for us and as soon as he saw us he ran over and took Anna from me, holding her close to his chest. Mercury carried Anna into the living room and I followed closely behind, wanting to know what had caused this. Mercury set Anna down on the couch and I sat next to her, while Mercury kneeled in front of her.

  “What's wrong? What happened? Why did you run like that?” I asked, concerned. After a few minutes Anna managed to calm down and then proceeded to tell us about her nightmare.

  “It felt so real and I felt like I couldn't breathe. I woke up in a cold sweat and I needed to get out. I needed to know if I could shift and that Lizzy was there. I was scared.” Anna said, still slightly shaking.

  “Anna, baby girl. No one will ever hurt you. I will hunt them down and rip them apart, I will rip their heads off their shoulders and their hearts out of their chest, if anyone ever tries to hurt you. I promise.” Mercury said and I knew that he meant every word of it, so did I. Mercury and I held Anna tightly until she had fully calmed down and then I walked her back upstairs to her room. I gave her a fresh set of pyjamas and she put them on while I went to the window, closing and locking it. I turned around to see that she was now dressed and helped her into bed, tucking her in and then sitting down next to her.

  “You know, no matter how old you get I will always be your mother and I’ll always tuck you in until you find a mate. I know you don't want one, trust me I know, but sometimes you can’t help it. The heart wants what the heart wants and there is no way to fight it. I want you to be yourself Anna, be you no matter who you end up with. If they try to change you then they are not for you. I am proud of you Anna, you handled shifting very well.” I said, stroking her hair. 

  “I kept telling myself no pain and a few minutes later I didn't feel any pain. The shift was fast and Lizzy loved the run. I heard what you and dad said and I don't understand about being a pure white wolf and what that means, but I will read up on it and make sure to learn and understand everything about it. I promise you, mom, I will never let you down, I promise.” Anna said, snuggling up next to me. I stayed in the room with her until she fell asleep  and then made sure she was covered up before leaving the room and shutting the door behind me. I was really worried about her and this dream, I wondered if it could be like the dreams I have. If the dreams she has are like the dreams I have then there is a possibility that it could be a vision and not just a dream, if that is the case then I will have to talk to Mercury and up the security around here.

  Anna’s P.O.V

  I heard my mom leave my room and close the door behind her, but I wasn't really asleep, I was just pretending. How could I sleep after everything that has happened since I have shifted? I was still wondering about white wolves and what it all meant for me, but I knew exactly where to look for the answers I needed. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and went on Google, searching for the website I needed. There was a man on here that put up a lot of things about all of the supernatural creatures and everything pertaining to them, most human people just thought he was some crackpot who was suspicious of everything, but what they didn't know was that he was right about everything and was in fact a werewolf elder. He had long retired, living a peaceful life and was now sharing his knowledge with others so that he could still help all the supernatural creatures in living their lives. I personally was grateful for this, especially at a time like this when I needed answers. I typed the words pure white wolf into the search bar on his website and waited for everything to come up. There was loads of information here and I decided to start reading it all.

  A pure white wolf comes around once every two thousand years and is normally a she-wolf. She will have extraordinary powers that others will kill to get. The she-wolf in question will have the power of healing fast, fire and water. Her eyes will always give away her emotions, especially if she is angry, they will glow brightly and everyone around her will have to be careful, as the she-wolf can put you into a trance and you will be dead before you even know what hit you. The pure white wolf has the power of transformation, she will be able to transform into any creature, person or thing…..

  The writing went on and on, I read until I could read anymore and felt like I was going cross eyed from staring at the screen of my phone. I finally felt tired enough to try and go back to sleep, so I put my phone back on the nightstand and snuggled down into my bed. I didn't have school tomorrow, so I could at least sleep in. I finally fell asleep and it felt like I had only been asleep for five minutes before there was a loud knocking on my bedroom door.
