Carina’s POV
The walls started to c***k and the debris flew all over our place. I had to cover my face using my hands and winced in pain as a chunk of solid wood flew directly at it.
“Carina!” Mica shouted and hurriedly grabbed my arm. She closed her eyes and was about to heal when my eyes widen in horror when I saw her floating. I held her hand trying to stop her from floating but she just keeps on arising until Remus used his levitation powers and move her down.
Mica is already crying when Nathan hugged her to comfort her. I turned my head to the person in front of me and stared directly at her. The lips I used to smile with is already bloody and it does not stop from bleeding profusely. Her skin is so pale and her eyes... Her eyes that no longer had sclera and is black all over. Black veins starts protruding from her face and her skin starts to dry up and c***k.
The same chaotic and bloody Maria I always saw in my premonition...
“Am I really late in saving you?” The wind blows hard from the open side exactly as the time Maria starts to laugh.

She is not Maria...
Random voices could be heard while she was laughing but that does not caught my attention but her eyes. Her eyes that is changing its color from black to red. From the color of blood...
“Her body is now ours!” She released a powerful force enough to push us all back to the wall. I winced in pain as my back feel the hard, metal door knob. Her laugh echoes in the whole room as she levitates in front of us while continuously laughing.
“She is so selfish... I asked to borrow her body but she refused...” I froze and my heart stops beating when I heard that voice.
That familiar voice...
“Why do you still need to see that selfish, weird and crazy twin of yours?” She grabbed the basket from the table and walk to the door.
“I’m leaving, and you all should leave to before I got back here. You don’t know how much Clarissa had changed over time. She’s starting to be a freak just like your father,” she scoffed and shook her head before heading out.
The scene earlier suddenly appeared and I feel my mind exploding in revelation.
“N-Nana...” I uttered in shock while staring at Maria’s body looking down on me. She has this tears streaming down her face and I knew she is still there and fighting for her own life.
‘Hang on, I will save you...’ I promised and stare directly at her black eyes.
“If only your father lend me his gift, then maybe we wouldn’t have to kill them... but aside from your sister, I could see you and your friends also had the gift...” She smiled creepily and raised her hand in the air. In one swift motion, all of the debris and furniture come flying at our direction.
“Carina, watch out!” Antonov pulled me near him when a pointed wood comes flying at my direction. I can’t even move a muscle due to all the information my mind can’t digest fully.
Nana killed our parents in hopes to get dad’s ability...
Nana is already dead and probably sold her soul to the devil for her to be able to do what she can do right now and lastly...
My premonition about Maria is happening right now and I don’t know how could I stop it when I’m facing numerous ghosts and demons from the past, waiting to steal her body completely.
“Taste this!” Gene shouted and threw a flaming ball into her direction. She laughed and deflect the fire back to us. Gene shielded us and the fire came back to him and absorbs it in his body. The fire in his eyes starts to show from her red orbs that matched his personality.
“Everyone, hold hands and touch me. I’m just going to make sure you’re all safe before I bring this daughter of Satan back to hell,” he commanded without breaking eye contact with her. We did as he told and held hands with everyone when he closed his eyes and a tingling sensation crawled across my body. The fire from him is hot yet calming, melting all the coldness and fear I have inside.
He opened his eyes and a smirk formed across his lips when he released another fire ball from his palms and turn his head to Remus. The latter nodded and used his ability to make him float and come near Maria.
“Ha!” He shouted and ran to the air, smashing my twin with the fire he created. Maria shrieked in pain and all I can do is watch as a series of ghosts who did not manage to grasp fully get out from his body. They can’t see them but I do... I grabbed the special whip I always had on my jeans and rotate it in the air. The whip is special to the sense that it is blessed by numerous priests and bishops and had been immersed in holy water from different mountains and churches. The only whip I knew that could help me save my sister and bring her back to me, alive...
“Don’t you dare come back to her for I will now bring you back to hell!” I shouted and grab the nearest ghost and watch as he wince his pain as smoke emitted from his body while the whip is encircled against him.
Maria closed his eyes tight and covers her ear that made me smile a bit because she is slowly getting back on to her senses. Her ability to hear the paranormal beings is way out of my league because I know how hard it is to pretend you’re not hearing them on your head when in fact it is getting all your insanity out of your body.
Gene threw a fireball at the direction where my whip is floating and the ghost burned completely. We repeated the same procedure as Mica, Antonov and Nathan tried for ways to get Maria to the ground in order to contain her powers.
The voices from her shouts decreases as the number of paranormal creatures inside of her had been burned to death. I could see her exhaustion in her eyes, as well as the rage of the only being left in her body.
“Nana, get off her and let us live together before I used my whip on you...” I threatened but it sounded less than I expected. My voice is already shaking and my body is trembling in exhaustion but I still need to fight now just for me, but for us...
“Ha! Do you really think you can get her from me?!” She shouted and flies at my direction. I stood on my ground and let her cold hands touch my neck as I stared directly at her eyes. Even with the chaos within her, I could still see the Maria I used to play with when we were younger and my twin that I loved much dearly. I did not bother wiping my tears as she pierces my skin with her sharp nails.
“You will never get Clarissa from me but...” her lips formed a smirk as she continues whispering the words at my ears. “If you want, you could give me your body and I’ll spare her life...”
Tears started streaming down her face and I could see the slightest emotion of the real Maria in her eyes. I could clearly see how much she resists and fought with her until a sound escape from her lips.
“N-No! Don’t you dare do it, Carina!” She shouted and wince in pain as something invisible starts tearing the side of her face. The rage in her eyes are back and they were staring intently at me.
“Do you want me to kill her this moment or you’ll give in to my request?” She threatened as more wounds starts opening up in her body. My body is shaking as I tried gasping for air when she grip my neck harder. Tears starts pooling down my face as I smiled weakly in front of her.
“I will do everything for you, my sunshine...” I smiled weakly and sing to the tune of our favorite song together.
“You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey...” More tears starts streaming down her eyes as her lips twitched and sing the song with me.
“You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away...” We both whispered as I feel Nana’s soul taking over my body.
