Chapter 9

SIENNA   He was not serious, right?   I had no words to describe what just happened but I sure as hell was not going home now.   If I ever saw that snake again, I was going to kiss it. Or put some other part of me in front of it and hope of another bite that Hunter could treat. Surprisingly, it was not hurting anymore at all. And I never believed that the sucking poison things even worked!   But if I was completely honest, I did not care about any of this anymore. What we had right now was intense… whatever it was. I just wanted to know what exactly was it.   And I wanted to explore. I stood there with my arms on his shoulders and our eyes locked on each other. Hunter looked at me intensely, his stormy blue eyes getting darker. I’ve never been so shameless before but… the thought of leaving him now… I did not like it.   “Sienna,” he sighed heavily, and his hands landed on my waist, the thin fabric of my top let me feel the heat radiating from him and I loved that feeling.   When he touched me before – I could swear there were sparks or something. If I wasn’t a witch and he didn’t already have a mate before, I swear, I would assume things. But second chance mate did not exist. The Moon Goddess was kind enough to forgive werewolves for mistreating their mates after my father fell in love with my mother, thinking that she was just a human. But I couldn’t remember a single couple with second chance mates no matter how hard I tried.    The silence was long and his grip on me became tighter. I, however, did not mind it at all. I specifically put my hands onto his shoulders to test something. And now I knew that I was right because the ink of his tattoos started moving again slightly. Like streams of water, they flowed over his skin to where my fingers were. Such a beautiful sight as the pattern changed, caressing me. Whatever it was, it liked me. And I loved that feeling of closeness.   “Sienna,” he growled and I noticed that his eyes were completely dark. But as far as I knew, his family wolves had golden eyes. It was their pride. That’s why their pack was called Golden Crescent. So, what was up with all that.   He snapped out of it and his normal stormy blue colour returned. I felt that he wanted to push me away before he actually did it and, not wasting any time, did the first thing that came to my mind. Almost jumping on my tiptoes, I pressed my lips against his firm ones. He froze as I slid deeper into his embrace and opened his mouth hesitantly. It was too hard to resist. He was a mystery and I loved those. I run my tongue over his perfect teeth and then slightly deeper, tasting him and liking every moment.   But what happened next, I did not expect, as a feral growl left him. I wanted to move away to look at his face but now his hand found its way to my hair, grasping it and pulling me closer, keeping me in place as he deepened the kiss possessively.   It was so overwhelming that my heart fluttered. I kissed werewolves before. I kissed warlocks. I kissed humans. I even kissed a werebear once. But no one. Absolutely no one made me feel this way.   Hunter was waking flames that I did not know were even there. His other hand grasped my bottom, fingers digging into the stretchy fabric of my jeans and all I wanted was for them to remove them.    He was ravishing my mouth when I couldn’t take it anymore. Wrapping my hands around his neck, I jumped him and locked my legs around his waist, making him growl again. I took a deep gasp of air while he gave me that much-needed break and moaned loudly when his lips and tongue landed on my neck this time.   The sound of tearing fabric did not bother me, I was happy to get rid of that blouse and give him more access to my skin. I was happy for him to do anything. It was wrong. But it felt so right in the moment that I couldn’t resist.   He left a wet trail of kisses all over my neck and all the way down to my breast, while I dug my nails into his back, feeling how something else was caressing me in return. It was so good that it was almost too much.   I felt him grasp the clasp of my bra, ready to remove it and arched my back in his hands, enjoying the moment.   “Hunter,” I whispered into his ear while my fingers entwined in his hair.   And he froze.   One of his hands was still grasping my buttocks, while the other was on that clasp.  Yet he froze, hesitating.   I felt so tiny and insecure at that moment as I felt his hot breath on my neck, both of us panting.   “F*ck, Sienna,” he muttered, sliding his palm from my bra to my waist and carefully placing me on top of the huge and sturdy dining table right next to us.   I knew that whatever it was, it was over. Disappointment flushed my cheeks and I looked away…    When my gaze shifted back to him, he was running his hand through his face and then our eyes met.   He was sorry for what he did and it hurt me.   A little.   Just a bit.   Because it was cute and I liked it.   “I can’t,” he said, groaning, “You are Aria’s little sister.”   “I am also Kieran’s little sister,” I jumped off the table and came closer to him, not even trying to hide my body. My torn blouse was on my hips and my bra was not modest at all. Agent Provocateur did not make those.   I noticed how the tips of his ears got red but he did not stop looking at me. And I smirked when I came closer and stood on my tiptoes to whisper, “But I am not that little anymore. Can’t you tell?”   I giggled and went to his bedroom without asking permission.   “Wh-what are you doing?” he asked, astonished.   “Well, now I need to borrow more clothes from you,” I shook my shoulders.   He was still at the same place when I was done and his eyes grew wide when he saw me wearing his huge white t-shirt.   “What the hell, Sienna? What are you wearing?!”   "Relax", I snorted and lifted it, making him choke on air. But he tried to regain composure when he saw that I cut my torn jeans and made shorts out of them.   "You could have made them longer," he groaned.   "I could have," I nodded and smiled, "But I decided against it. By the way, there is a little present for you in the pocket of your jacket. I need to go now, but I will see you around, Hunter. Hope you will not fail me."   And with that, before he could check what it was or tell me anything, I escaped his little wooden house. “Her Demon Alpha Mate” by Marion Artwood, exclusively for Stary Ltd (Dreame, Innovel, Yugto, Dreame U etc).
