24. Kitchens

I ride butter all over. I spend hours riding him. Tye's feather flashes a few times, but I ignore it.

I go to the kitchen after I get hungry. I eat alone and watch everyone. Then I talk to the servants who work there. I tour the kitchen getting ideas from them. I figure out there's a head kitchen person. She organizes everything. So I take her and go to the conference table.

I get a lot of weird glances being with the kitchen person.

"Hi daddy, I am redoing the kitchen. This is Ella. She is the boss for the kitchen. We want to go to the Yanin castle and the Borin castle, so we can see their kitchens. I would like to see the Nox castle kitchen too. But I don't know about going alone to that 1." I shrug my shoulders. "It would probably be ok though."

Frode looks at Dracul. "You were going over to Nox castle anyway. You want to take them and go through the kitchen too?"

Dracul nods. "Gunner, you want to go and stay with her, so I can get my stuff done?"

"Yea, I can do that."

"Go ahead and take Corbin too. He seems like he needs something to do as well."

Dracul nods and the 3 of them stand up. I make a door, and we step into the Nox castle sitting room.

"That was easy."

"How would you have got here without me?"

"Omar or flying."

We get escorted to the king's office.

"I'm redoing our kitchen. This is Ella, she's our kitchen boss. I was hoping to see yours. We are searching for different ideas."

Drake smirks. "You going to steel our wine this time?"

"That's always possible." We laugh.

The king nods at me. "Go ahead. Guard, can you show her where it is?"

"Yes, sir." Me, Ella, Corbin, and Gunner follow the guard to the kitchen. They have a kitchen boss too. Ella talks to her and I roam around talking to everyone. We get a few ideas.

We're only there about 30 minutes and Ella is ready to go. It's a lot like ours.

We go back to the king's office. Dracul is still sitting there too.

"We're done. It's pretty much identical to ours. Thank you for letting us look."

"My pleasure princess."

Dracul nods. "You 4 can go check the Yanin and Borin castles. But make sure you are announced immediately. Tell them what you're doing. Don't go roaming around their castles. And those 2 only. Tell the table if you have any more places to see."

"Thank you." We go to Tye's castle next.

I find a guard and tell him what we're doing. We get ushered into the king's office anyway.

"I'm redoing our kitchen. I want to check yours for ideas. Is it ok?"

"Of course. Why isn't my son with you?"

"He's on the boat. They are coming back before dinner. I'm trying to get ideas before they get back."

"Alright, go ahead. Let me know if you need anything."

"Thank you."

After 2 wrong turns, we finally find it.

"They let you roam around the castle?"

"It's Tye's dad. So yea. I've stayed here before, actually."

Gunner rubs his eyes. "And you still couldn't find the kitchen."

"Well, we finally made it. Let's see it."

The kitchen boss is in their kitchen too. Me and Ella talk to her. They have a nice kitchen. We're there about an hour and a half. I end up with papers and drawings.

Next we go to Elek's castle.

Gunner loses it. "I thought you meant Corals castle."

Corbin's eyebrows shoot up. "Whose is this?"

"Elek."

I roll my eyes and find a guard. "Can you ask the table if I can see their kitchen? I'm redoing ours."

He escorts us into the king's office.

Elek, Elroy, Elijah, Arvid, 3 advisors, and the king are sitting at the table.

"I'm redoing our kitchen. I'm checking layouts and everything. This is Ella. She's our kitchen boss. We wanted to know if we could see yours."

"Of course."

Elroy jumps up. "I'll show you where it is."

Elek winks. "I'll come down in a bit." We follow Elroy.

We get there and Elroy talks to Corbin and Gunner. They sit at a table. Ella and I roam the kitchen and talk to everyone. They have an amazing kitchen. And the flow is perfect. We sit on the floor in the center of the dining room and draw things out. Soon half their kitchen servants are sitting on the floor with us. They are helping.

Then there seems to be an issue at the door. Elek walks in with my mates and Nikolas. I stare at them. They stare at me.

Eventually, Dipak speaks. "What are you doing?"

"Getting ideas for the kitchen redo. What are you doing?"

"Woman, you can't roam away and go through people's castles alone."

I point at Gunner and Corbin. They wave at him.

"I told the table. They gave me Gunner and Corbin. They told me I could go to the Yanin and Borin castles. Dracul went with us to Nox castle. I had us announced and got permission from the king at every castle. I don't think I messed up any rules, Dipak."

"They thought you meant Coral's castle woman."

"I can go there too. Good idea."

He rubs his eyes.

"You're right angel. You did nothing wrong. We collectively thought the worst. That was our fault."

Elek rubs his eyes and sits with his brother.

I go back to my drawing.

Gunner takes my mates and Nikolas into the hallway for a couple of minutes.

They come back much happier.

"How much longer, sweetheart? It's about time for dinner."

"Not long. Can you go figure out that fire box? Ella says that would make her life easier."

Him and Tre go to the kitchen with a few servants that were sitting around me. Nikolas sits by Corbin. Tye looks around. "I'm going back to our castle."

Johen maneuvers through the servants and sits beside me. "I'm so sorry about the boat, hun."

"It's ok. I know you drank too much and then got sick. I was very bored watching everyone sleep. And no one else wanted to be pirates. Dipak said he would stop, but I didn't want to wake you up since you didn't feel good. Everyone else was sleeping." I shrug my shoulders. "I got to ride my horse. And I've got lots of ideas for the kitchen now too."

He kisses my head. "You should check the ship's kitchen too. I mean, we can't use the technology, but maybe you could get some ideas. That kitchen has to be huge."

"That is a good idea. I can do that after dinner. Why were you guys so mad I was touring kitchens?"

"We asked where you were. Your dad said Borin castle. We came through so fast. Had no idea what you were doing or who you were with. We thought Elek. I'm sorry for that too." He kisses my head. "Then we got here and Elek was sitting at the table. It was confusing for a minute. Then he brought us to you, and you're sitting here working on your kitchen project." He chuckles and rubs his eyes. "We're the stupid ones baby. We get jealous over nothing. You did nothing wrong."

I give him a little kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too."

"Do you have what you need? We can make that fire box for you." The other boys are back.

"Oh yay." Ella does a happy wiggle.

I stand up. "I think we're good here. We got lots of ideas."

Marcus looks around. "Where is Tye?"

Johen rolls his eyes. "Went back to our castle."

We go to the dining room and momma smiles. "Tye's eating with his parents. Said he'd be back after that."

Dipak signals for the food and me and the boys talk about my ideas for the kitchen.

After dinner, I go to Tye's apartment. He's sitting on the couch. I think he's been crying.

I sit by him, and he puts his arm around me. "I'm so sorry babydoll. I keep f*****g up."

I immediately think he's been with another girl. I freak out and panic. I try to push him off me.

"Not like that woman. I'm not cheating on you, babydoll. I won't do that."

I hug him tight. I feel so much better. "Don't scare me Tye."

He kisses my head. "I wanted to spend some time with you. I figured the boat was a good idea. Then we started drinking. I knew you were with the others, they said you had a hard time with some of the stuff that was talked about. So, I kept drinking. I never meant to get that drunk. We were talking and that was it. Then I slept the next day. I got up for dinner, but I could hardly eat. I went back to bed. I got up in the morning and went searching for you. They said you left the day before, you were lonely and bored. Tre even said you got your pirate outfit ready. I'm so sorry."

"It's ok." I snuggle in cuddle him.

"That's it?"

I shrug my shoulders. "I wasn't mad. I knew you drank too much. I was bored. No one wanted to do anything with me. Dipak, Marcus, and Tre had to sleep and drive. I was left with a bunch of sleeping people. I wasn't mad at you for drinking and having fun. I was bored. I came home and loved on Evol, rode butter, then worked on the kitchen. It was better than sitting on the deck throwing stones."

"Why didn't you come and talk to us babydoll?"

"When I walked into the dining room, before you were drinking, everyone stopped talking and stared at me. I didn't know what to think. I knew you were talking about me. Then I heard you in the bar laughing. I didn't want you to stop having fun. I figured we would do something the next day, so I went to bed. But I didn't see anyone until dinner, then everyone froze and stopped talking again when I walked in. After that, you went to bed without even saying anything to me. Johen told me he was sick. But that was it. I told Dipak I wanted to go home, and he let me."

"I should have spent time with you instead of drinking. I shouldn't have drank that much. The first dinner we were talking about that cave with the werewolf girl. That man who was crazy. Marcus came in and told me to shut up. I think we all shut up. The next day, we were sick. We weren't talking about you. I think we seen you and forgot what we were doing."

I snuggle him. "Have you eaten yet?"

He shakes his head. "I spent the day feeling like s**t. I'm the reason you were on the boat. Then I ignored you the whole time. I'm horrible."

"You're not horrible. You drank too much and I was bored. Let's get you some food."

We talk a little more while he eats. Then I go over to Johen's apartment to check on him. He's sitting on the couch with some papers.

I straddle him. He throws his papers at the table and grabs me. I can tell from his hands on me that he needs me as much as I need him.

An hour of extreme s*x later, we pass out.
