NORA SAT ON THE CUSHY pillow laid on the wide window sill, watching the marina. Matt’s apartment had a superb view of the harbor, and Nora had already learned to enjoy it.
The morning after meeting Matt’s parents, Nora persuaded the doctor to discharge her. She promised him that she would take it easy and start physiotherapy after two weeks. It helped that Matt supported her and assured the physician that Nora wouldn't overtax her body. Of course, Matt took her to his apartment directly and started doing just what he had promised.
During that afternoon, she spent with Matt’s parents, Nora had accepted to go home with Matt for Nat's sake. However, she wasn’t sure that it was a smart move.
