BRYAN’S INTERVENTION spared both Matt and Rebecca of a total break up. Matt left Becka and Bryan's house with the kid and Becka in tow. Bryan remained to deal with the old witch, as Matt called Rebecca in his thoughts now.
Matt rarely had evil thoughts about his great-grandma. He understood why her heart had grown cold and why she wanted to control everything and everyone, even though he didn’t like it.
Rebecca and Matt had butted heads over the years, sometimes more, sometimes less. The worse had been when Matt brought Velma with him to introduce her to the family.
