CHAPTER FIVE –––––––– THIS TIME, CONTRARY to his custom, Matt didn’t burst into Becka and Bryan’s house. He didn’t even think to check and see whether the door was locked or not. Matt was still in shock and couldn’t behave normally, so he pushed the bell and waited patiently for someone to come and open the door. Matt's mind was in turmoil, and he couldn’t focus on anything specific. His world had turned upside down in a matter of hours, and he could do nothing more but keep a façade of calm.
