Silent, slow, excruciating minutes felt like hours. Drops of Quinn’s sweat, heavy with dust, fell down on Jimmy, mingled with his perspiration and plummeted further down to the ancient and empty Mayan temple. All of a sudden, Quinn’s left foot shot into nothingness when she took a step upwards. She nearly fell, feeling her back slide down the wall several inches, her shirt which was already ripped, now tearing to her bare skin.
