Uniquely White.

CHAPTER 9

I am woken up at a radicolus hour by two super annoying people that's also happen to be my best friends Maney and Charlie. Who in there right mind told them where the spare key to my house was, oh wait that was me.

"Carter wake up it's your birthday! Your finally 16! Come one we have breakfast waiting!" Charlie yells through my door.

"Yeah Carter come on we don't have all day to celebrate remember were on a time schedule." Maney adds

I internally groan " Yeah okay I'm up! I'll be down in 10." With that I jump into my shower and get myself ready for today.

I'm walking down the stairs and a delicious smell of eggs and bacon hit me, I make my way around to the kitchen where I find Maney and Charlie setting the table with our mouth watering breakfast.

"Okay guys so what's the plan for today you have to tell me something!" I complain

"Well to start with we're going to have some fun." Maney smirks at me.

"Where going to super fun land!" Charlie squeals

"Oh my god! Guys are you serious? I have always wanted to go there!" I say super excitedly.

"That is why we are taking you" Maney says while Charlie's jumps up and down with me.

"What the hell are we waiting for then? Let's go!" I'm almost running for the door.

We get there in no time at all, Charlie and I jump out of the car while Maney resembles a dad trying to contain his kids. It's quite funny concidering Maney is usually the one we have to control, but today it's his turn to look out for us.

We pay our entry and run wild, first we do some rock climbing; we then played on the pinch grab and claw games; the biggest bounce castle ever, we dressed in Velcro suits and ran to stick on everything; we got our faces painted; jumped on trampolines you name it we did it! We were having so much fun we had missed out on lunch and of cause Maney was the one that noticed so Charlie and I decided it was best we finished up and left so Maney didn't get hangry.

It was 2 o'clock so we just went to our local burger joint as both Maney and Charlie wanted to do one more thing before I had to be home. We all order our usuals mine was the typical double cheese burger with extra fries and a chocolate shake and jump back into the car to head to our last destination.

Maney pulls up at the very place we all met for the very first time, we jump out and walk over to our favourite spots. Charlie and Maney both look at me with so much love and adoration.

"Carter we know that now your 16 our school year is almost over and we will all be going our separate ways after high school finishes. We both want you to know that no matter where we are in the world you are the only person we both want to remember and always have." Maney says

"You are a strong and wonderful friend and we are both lucky to have you! We just hope we made your birthday something to remember. We wanted this spot to be the last for the day as it is super special for all of us. You mean the world to us Carter." Charlie says

I'm almost in tears "Today has been the best day I've had in a very long time and I will never forget what you have both done for me! Neither will you both be getting rid of me that easily when use go off to college!" I bring them both into a massive hug.

We spend an hour there talking and reminiscing about the good times we have had. Maney realises the time and ushers us into the car to head home. We rock up at home right on 4 o'clock, thankfully no one is at home yet so I thank them both again for the best birthday ever and wave them off.

Not even 2 minutes later Kate arrives at home with the Beta and Gramas mates Carla and Daisy to help her get me ready, first they do my hair in a beautiful French braid with elegant wavy curls, Kate puts a beautiful diamond clip in my hair to finish it off.

Carla does my make up while the other to worry about me not seeing the dress yet, she sticks to basics as I was never a fan of make up nor do I need it. Eyeliner and Mascara to make my eyes stand out and a bit of natural coloured lipstick was all that I was happy with and neither of them argued with me there.

Finally it was time for me to see what Luna had organised for me to wear, it was a Beautiful Baby Blue dress with white lace appliques and off the shoulder floor length beauty. I am speechless it's so elegant nothing I would have expected to be in.

I start to tear up "Luna are you serious? This is for me?"

"Oh hunny, don't you like it?" She responds worriedly while both Carla and Daisy eye each other with worried looks also.

"Like it? Luna I love it! It's beautiful I've would have never imagined myseld being in something so beautiful before." I can't hold my tears back it sort of reminds me of the dress my mum wore on her wedding/mating ceremony with dad... She looked breath taking in the photo's I hope I look as good as she did.

I hug Luna so tight while I'm crying she's crying. "I'm so glad you love it Carter, I wanted you to feel special tonight and when I seen this dress I saw your mum, that's how I knew it was the perfect dress for you."

"You are amazing Luna! Thank you so much this really has been the best birthday!" I hug her again.

"What have I said about calling me Luna! It's Kate! Now let's get you dressed I have one more surprise for you!"

With that, all 3 of them helped me into my dress and when I was speechless before well I'm even more speechless now, I look like a totally different person. Kate sent both Carla and Daisy home to get them selves ready while she stayed back to give me one last thing.

Kate hands me a box perfectly wrapped, I open it and when I do I see this beautiful wolf pendant with a white diamond in the middle made into a necklace on the back Kate had engraved 'Unique' in the back.

"This my beautiful Carter will keep you safe from anyone knowing your true identity, it has be hand crafted and spelled by a very special person I know." She spins me around and places the necklace around my neck and clips it in.

"While you have this on no one will see you as a white wolf, in 2 days time I have organised some special training for you to under go with my special friend to help you find your power and control it." I nod in understanding in.

"Now lets get a photo to send to your dad, I bet he is dying to see you all dressed up." Kate takes the photo with my phone and sends it to my dad, as if he was waiting he replies back with;

- Your as beautiful as your mother princess, enjoy your night don't let that mate of yours take you before I get back! love dad

- Thank you dad, who said I'm going to find one tonight anyways :) love you

- You never no princess, you never no. :)

I left it at that and waited for Kate to get her self dressed and ready as she had organised a car to come and take us to the ceremony together.
