CHAPTER 8

I wake up extra early to see dad off and tell him how much I love him, I decided that since it was 4am I might as well get some training in before school starts so I head out to the training station dad made especially for me.

Wanting to do some of my tricks again I figure there was no harm in messaging Kevin and seeing if he was up for a sparing session before school, since I know his dad was going on this same trip as mine he might be awake now too.

Carter- Hey.. um are you awake?

Kevin- Hey who's this?

Carter- Oh s**t my bad I forgot you only gave me yours. It's Carter.

Kevin- Oh sweet! what's up? Everything okay?

Carter- I was just going to see if you was up for a sparing session before school?

Kevin- Oh sure. When? Now?

Carter- Now my dad made me my own training space so I'll be out the back waiting :)

With that settled I throw my phone down and do a few warm up'S while I waited for Kevin to arrive. About 15 minutes later not only can I sense Kevin I also sense Evan.

Kevin runs up to me with a smile on his face. "Ready when you are boss?"

I smile knowing he has no idea how strong I am. "Don't you want to warm up first? I already did while waiting. You can also tell Evan to stop hiding."

He gives me a cheeky grin "He didn't want me coming alone, I just think he was jealous you didn't ask him to spar this early in the morning."

"Well it's not like I have his number? You only gave me yours. Besides it's not like he would be up at this hour saying goodbye to his dad anyways." I grumble punching into the boxing bag waiting for Kevin to warm up.

"Chill Carter he's coming over now. How'd you know I would be up anyways?" Confused face much.

"Well Kevin, I'm not your average teenage girl and like to see my dad off as he is all I have left... I know you have both parents but you give me the vibe that you and your dad are close so I just took a wild guess that you would be awake saying goodbye to him too."

"Your a smart girl Carter really smart! Give me 10 on the bag and I'll be ready to spar." Kevin pipes up.

Evans slowly appears at the back of my house, and walks over to me. "Morning Carter, hope you don't mind if I'm here too."

"Not at all Evan the more the merrier." I say sarcastically "But seriously get warmed up your sparing me at the same time as Kevin now." I give him a devilish smile and go muck around with Kevin while he warms up.

"Okay I want you both to work as a team and come at me? Don't hold back because I'm not." They both look at me worriedly but I give them my reassuring smile and wait for them to start.

Surprisingly they work really well together they compliment each other's strengths and weaknesses which is really rare but it is needed when in the roles they will be having. While I was admiring their team work Kevin landed a nice punch to the jaw but he froze like he was to scared he had hurt me. I gave him a cheeky grin and steadied myself to prepare for my special move.

Evans came at me from behind so I grab his arm and twisted it around and kicked his knees out from under him so that he was now lying on the floor, Kevin takes that as an advantage for him to get the upper hand, but little does he know this is where I want him. Evan gives me a curious look as he sees me smirk knowing Kevin was getting ready to pounce, just as Kevin lifted his arm to swing, I spun around faked that I was going to block him with a punch and spin the opposite direction and fly kick him in the chest.

He went flying...

"Damn Carter when did you learn a move like that?" Evan says with absolute shock on his face.

"I trained myself with that move, dad has his own unique move that takes down his enemy's so I wanted to surprise him with my own once I had mastered it. My only problem was I didn't really have someone to test it on so my boxing bag was my dummy."

Kevin slowly gets back up, I really took the wind out of him, Evan was out of breath with exhaustion so I figured we would call it a day.

"You boys we're great you could use a few pointers but the way you both worked as a team and used each others strengths and weaknesses amazed me! Nice job but I think that's enough for you both today how about some breakfast?"

"How are you not even exhausted after that?" They both ask.

"This isn't anything compared to the training I've had with dad. This was just fun." I say with a smile.

"Damn we defiantly need you training with us!" Kevin says

Evan stops us as we are about to walk into the house.

"Dad, would you like some breakfast too? He yells.

Kevin and I both turn around and can see that Alpha has come from behind a tree after shifting back into his human form wearing a pair of baseball shorts.

"Morning Alpha, just out for an early morning stroll?" I sarcastically say.

He smiles, "Well when I said yesterday I wanted to see this training session I meant it... I didn't expect it to be starting at 4am though."

"Oh it was a last minute thing, I needed a partner to train with since dad left and Kevin was nice enough to come around and bring Evan as well." I respond

"From what I saw Carter you have almost out done your dad with that last move you used on Kevin. He will definitely be proud once he see it." He gives me his biggest smile like he was also proud of me.

"So eggs and bacon before we get ready for school every one?" I say with a smile on my face feeling like I have been given a compliment from the Alpha.

"Definitely!" They are say.

After breakfast Alpha, Kevin and Evan left to go get ready for school so I went up and did my usual routine and grabbed my keys to my Matalic Green and black motor bike excited to ride her to school again.

The rest of the day went super quick and I found myself slightly dreading going to sleep and waking up for my birthday tomorrow.
