CHAPTER 12

Saturday Morning I was woken up by banging on the front door, I knew it wasn’t dad, or Maney or Charlie as they practically have a key, I sit up after no one else decided to get up apart from groaning that someone was being too loud, so I get up and walk over to the door without looking who it was I swing it open not even caring that I’m in my tank top and short shorts with messy hair, to my surprise it’s Evan and Sebastian along with I’m only assuming his Beta standing there looking gobsmacked at my appearance.

“Morning Carter, Rough night?” Evan says with a smirk on his face.

“Oh you don’t know the half of it!” I respond sarcastically

I hear a very low growl come from Sebastian so I look at him with a confused look, only just realising what I am wearing and who is actually at my door. I awkwardly try and cover myself up.

“What do you want? we were still sleeping.”

“We just wanted to come see how you were? Kevin hadn’t responded to any of my mind-linking, guess this answers why.” Evan says.

“Also same goes for my sister and her friend.” Sebastian says.

“Oh well were good, I am fine we had a Slumber party last night to make my birthday even special.” I proudly say, while all 3 look at me questionably.

“What I haven’t been able to have one before and after last nights events they wanted to make me feel better and it did, the only other thing I need to do now is some training if your keen.” I direct that to Evan and he givens me a challenge accepted nod.

“Great! I need food first though, you wanna cook you God sister and her new friends breakfast?” I ask with a smile on my face.

“I’ll cook you breakfast.” Sebastian says with hope that ill approve his offer.

“You need to cook for all of us? not just me? can you handle that?” I say trying not to sound to mean.

“Yeah of cause! I can help you train to if you like?”

“Oh, you want to train with me?”

“Only if you will allow me Princess.” Princess did he just call me princess where did this come from?

“Sure” I let them walk in while they head over to the kitchen to cook us breakfast I go get the others up and tidy up a bit while they go freshen up, I figured I might as well wait until after my training session, I plan on making Sebastian regret his hesitation he had last night.

“When is your dad getting home Carter?” Sebastian asks

“He should be back tonight or at the latest tomorrow morning.”

“So your staying here alone?” both Grace and Sebastian ask

“Yeah I always do when dad goes on trips.”

Sebastian gives Evan a look which confuses me. “Why doesn’t she stay at the pack house like everyone else?” he questions Evan

“Well, she can if she likes I guess no one really thought about it.” Evan says with a mouth full of food. That response doesn’t really sit well with Sebastian so I come to Evans defence.

“I don’t really fit in well with the pack since mum died so I like to be on my own, that’s my own choice.”

No one says anything else and finishes their breakfast, while everyone is washing their plates I run up and put my training gear on, then head back down stairs Evan and Kevin come and follow me out to my training area Sebastian and the others look confused as to why were going out to my back yard. “I thought you wanted to train why are you all going out there?”

“Well Sebastian, my dad is the head Warrior and as it isn’t common to train a daughter to be one as part of our coping method when my mother died we trained together, he made me my own special training area so I didn’t get judged out side of my home.” I say while heading over to my boxing bag.

Kevin and the girls take a seat on the bench as they don’t want to train right now, Evan goes over and starts to warm up knowing what is about to happen. Sebastian and his beta Curtis follow along and start warming up too I can feel his eyes on me as I am warming up.

“Evan are you ready?” I give him a smirk

“Ready as I will ever be Carter.” he says with a wink, when a low growl happens again we both ignore him and continue.

We start will full power not backing down we are both relativity even though out the session, eventually we both call it even after Sebastian tried to jump in with the last hit Evan got on me.

“Fine if he can’t finish our session then you fight me! Evan you fight with Curtis.” I argue

“Fine, but I will go easy on you.”

“I wouldn’t if I was you.” I say with a devilish smirk he gives me a questionable look but proceeds.

To start with its just a couple of right hook and jabs, when he realises I can handle my own he picks up his power and the real training begins, everyone is literally just watching us with curious eyes. Kevin and Evan both know what is about to happen so they give each other a bit of a laugh which takes the rest off guard. Evan gives them the ‘You’ll see’ look.

Sebastian tries to change his moves as he clicks on that I have memorised them, I look at Kevin and Evan and give them my knowing smirk and they give me the nod. Sebastian thinks I’ve let my guard down and goes to throw a punch so I spun around and faked that I was going to block him with a punch and spin the opposite direction and fly kick him in the chest. Just like Kevin he went flying, my wolf is hating on me for doing this but I had to show him that I am worthy of being his Luna if I wanted to.

Both Grace, Curtis and Stacey look at me in shock that I just defeated Sebastian, they go to run to check on him but Evan stops them and nods for me to go over. So I run over and check on him knowing I used my full strength I know it had to of hurt him.

"Hey, are you okay? I'm sorry I shouldn't have used my full strength."

"Hey don't stress, I am pretty sure I deserved it after last night anyway." he says clearly in pain

"Hear let me help you." I reach to help him up and as soon as our body's touch I can feel the pull to him even more, the tingle sensation that runs through my body just at the touch is unbelievable. He feels it too, I can see it in his eyes.

"You being here is actually making me feel much better." he wasn't lying there.

"I think that is enough training for today guys" I holla at them, which they all nod in agreement.
